Chrysler crossfire zv4 build
What you have is around what a 12" will take. An 18 will not work.

Anyone know how to model subs in winISD?
It won't. Go to Vance Dickason's website. He has an option on the site to sigh up for free software. The software is in excel and is designed by Patrick Turnmire. All you do is type in basic specs and it will calculate more specific specs and has options for sealed and ported boxes. It will also calculate the rms power for the driver to hit Xmax in your entered enclosure. There are also crossover calculators and a spreadsheet that gives cabin gain per your entered room info. No thread jack here I learned something too out of your question. I'll have to check out Quentin's suggested website. Thanks!

Anyone know how to model subs in winISD?
Sean has looked it up and we have been texting about everything. If you would like to do it also and see that would be cool. I don't think you would get different things though, right? Also Adrian D. on here sells 8" and 10" flared ports for scheduled 40 pvc pipes. I will get the pvc pipe, but it will be expensive though.

Anyone know how to model subs in winISD?
The goal is to play anywhere from 28hz to 45hz with authority. I know both subs will be able to do that. I also want it to sound good, but we all know that is subjective lol This is going to be my daily setup that will mostly be played at lower volume, but will be cranked like a meth head when I'm with friends or showing off. I listen to a lot of rap and trap/dubstep music. Thanks man! I appreciate it. Ohh and subs/port will be front firing with trunk sealed off.

Anyone know how to model subs in winISD?
I don't know if I want to keep my Sundown X 12s or go with Xcon 12s! Damn it's such a hard decision. Either 2 Sundown X 12s or 2 Xcon 12s on an saz 2500. Box can be 6.1 cubes (29hz) or 6.4 cubes (32hz) with a 8" aero port What all info do you need to model them?

So I'm not sure how much you can tell from winISD by modeling subs, but if anyone wants to help me out and model 2 sets of subs for me in winISD that would be great! Also, exactly what information can you get from modeling subs?

4th order subs
From what I know, you only use a band pass enclosure when it is needed. I don't know much about 4th orders. Someone should post in here what they are used for and why.

grayta's 2012 Ford Focus Build
Thanks! I am not sure where he got it, I will ask him next time I see him. It moves a lot of air, my rear doors and trunk flex like crazy. lol I will have to take a video soon. Let me know when you find out please. I am going to do a 10" aero port with my X 12s when I get the new model fusion which is going to be very soon.

Any have a 9th Gen Impala with no trunk/bumper rattle?
Have you tried playing it and checking things? Hold different things down when the bass is playing and you could maybe find your rattle.

4th order subs
By far the best forum. If you don't like it leave. What Sean meant by if you have to ask don't do it, is if you don't understand what it is don't jump into it right away. Learn more about how 4th order band pass enclosures work and what it would do for you. So stating your goals and what you want from a system would probably be a good start with your post. Why do you want a 4th order band pass?? Most likely a standard ported enclosure will be better for your application.
