Man, i'm used to working 60-80 hours a week. After sitting in the hospital for 4 days and now another 2 weeks at home I gotta keep my mind distracted.

Any particular passband you are aiming for. Or gain ripple?

Function of extra wire within harness?
Correct, just cap it off so it doesn't accidentally touch anything.

Been in the hospital from Monday till Thursday due to some complications from complex Migraines and some other stuff they are still looking at. The doctors said I can't drive for another two weeks and I'm getting a little bored laying in the bed so if you need any help with a box, drawing a sketch-up, a cut list, ect let me know.

Function of extra wire within harness?
The factory plug illumination (red/black) is positive and is to be hooked to the positive illumination wire on the aftermarket harness. Older vehicles have both a illumination (+) and a dimmer (-) so you will find both in some aftermarket harnesses. If you ground out that illumination wire you will morethan likely blow the fuse connected to your dash lights.

E8V2 Slot Port Calculation HELP
If that is for one 8" that port is a tad large. Using Small's minimum port formula you'll need apprx. 9.75 in^2 of port area. With a .6 ft^3 box that port will need to be 33" long.

An update on what's going on with our subwoofers
Do you mean how is the quality of their design consulting? If so then, Patrick Red Rock's CEO, was personally recommended by Dr. Wolfgang Klippel (by email) to be the best qualified person in the industry to measure transducers and also had the newest set of toys from Klippel. Vance Dickason uses his FEA program SpeaD in his cookbook in the first chapters on transducer design and I quote Vance on page 13 of the 7th edition of the cookbook. "all the data and graphs (and some of the text) used for this tutorial were provided by Red Rock Acoustics and specifically by Red Rock's CEO, Pat Tirnmire, who happens to be one of those "hard to find" transducer designers. I would think it's hard to get that kind of recognition from Klippel and Dickason if you dont have a firm grasp on design. Plus the guy is top notch. He takes the time to help the little guy "me" when he normally deals with people like Sonovox who has a minimum on 1,000 units per driver order.

*Swift's Rebuild* 3 SP4 18's, 12k Walled F250
Here's the model you asked for. The green is a classic super boom box. It gives you more bottom end but you just don't have enough room for it. I played around with several box sizes and tunings staying within your deminsions and I'd stick with the plan you had the PM's so you can adjust tuning as you play with the system. The red is the 19 cubic feet tuned to 31.5 hertz that was talked about in the PM's.

Klippel analyzing has been completed. Just waiting for the synopsis.

Skar/Audiopipe Minivan Build
I'm in the hospital but I got my old lady bringing my laptop and cookbook. Are there any parameters listed anywhere.

Not a problem. Maybe they'll get ne figured out.

would sealed hits the lows im lookin for?
I would but I'm in the hospitail waiting on a neurologist and cardiologist.

Infinite baffle subwoofer
I would think two 15's IB in a trunk would just equal 1) a big leaky sealed box or 2) a big sealed box is sealed up properly.

would sealed hits the lows im lookin for?
You will want to get that brace 1.5 tines the width of the port away from the end of the port so it doesn't add to the port's length.

Got three XBL motors I'm willing to get rid of
Yea, I had plans for several but when it came down to production they acted like they didn't want to take any money. So I contacted Klippel and asked for their recommendation for designers here in the states. That led me to Patrick Turnmire (created Orion's loudspeaker department And developed Orion's first products in the 90's and developed SpeaD, the program used in the Loudspeaker Cookbook), he is partners with Enrique Stiles ( designed cv Strokers, VP of Engineering at ADS Technologies, was chief of Engineering at Pioneer Speakers, manager of Speaker Engineering at Orion, has designed speakers for Altec Lansing, McIntosh, Boston Acoustics, Fishman, and Artisan), and they are partners with Vance Dickason whom needs no introduction. So it's taken a little longer than expected but I've gathered the know how, the experience, and the tools to come up with some great product. After I get the DSS (Direct Sound Solutions) product running I will be getting into the MMAG (multiple magnetic air gap) product that will concentrate on sound quality product and ultra high excursion subwoofers.

Yea you can google it.

They are Dr. Hyre / Wiggins split gap motors

Got three XBL motors I'm willing to get rid of
I have dual 2 and dual 4 ohm coils. They will work on 10, 12, 15 frames. 18 cone has too much moving mass. $150 for each motor built to whatever size you want, plus shipping.

Got three XBL motors I'm willing to get rid of
I've got three xbl motors I'd be willing to let go for $150 plus shipping. They are rated with an xmax of 24.5mm one way, and a BL of 15 with a dual two ohm coil. You can expect to run 500 watts rms thermally on the coils. The motors have an aluminum shorting ring outside the gap. Below is a pic of the BL curves. Disregaurd the compliances, the motors will be coned with beefier coned ans 12 spoked baskets similar to what everyone else uses. I can give calculated T/S parameters using SpeeD (indusrty standard FEA in loudspeaker design) This photo is what the motors look like. One is black, two are nickel finshed.

gain plots with 1,2,3 and 4 cubic foot sealed boxes along with the other ported boxes if you'd like to go that route.

would sealed hits the lows im lookin for?
your deminsions would be: 46 inches wide 36 inches high 3.5 inches deep at top 9.5 inches deep at bottom using 3/4 inch MDF gives you 4.44 cubic feet internally

would sealed hits the lows im lookin for?
Below are two popular enclosures that would fit in the room you provided. There were a few parameters that weren't listed on the Sundown site so I used a FEA program to calculate them so they may be a tad off but close enough that it shouldn't matter. The top is a BB4 alignment: 2.08 cubic feet tuned to 36 hertz with a f3 of 32.89 The bottom is a C4 alignment: 3.88 cubic feet tuned to 28.9 hertz with a f3 of 25.76 hertz. Because you are looking for the increased lower end I'd go with the C4 alignment. Group delay is much higher than the BB4 but it's not much higher than 28ms and it's only 20ms at 20 hz so it should be fine. Using Small's minimum port area formula you will want to use (2) 4 inch ports or 25.12 square inches of port 19 inches long. With sub displacement this should just fit and give you room between the sub and seat as I took off an inch and a half of the depth measurements you gave. I'd put the subs on the driver side and exit the port toward the passenger side. This is just my preferences someone else might have something else they might want to add.
