  1. U like the karma ss wires? I got a set of 4 channels and they were broke only worked if I pushed the cord in.
  2. Try finding a set on black Friday sale. U won't regret the hertz hsks
  3. Ya I knew it wasn't quite right but still you gotta consider when ppl have only had kickers etc in prefab enclosures any fi sub would be like a lambo to the Honda (kicker)
  4. Ya its like saying should I buy a Ferrari or a lambo. One may suit u better but if u buy the wrong one you still have a Ferrari or a lambo. Definately could have done alot worse
  5. A 15" zcon with a crescendo bc2000d would work great together and wouldnt require a bunch of batteries
  6. That is so cool!
  7. Nice man! Voted for you! Thats so awesome. Better be a build log with lots of pics
  8. For what its worth I had the alpine type s components and was very happy with them for the money. I got them for just under $100 and had em on fairly low wattage 60rms and really liked them. Mid bass was pretty good and the highs were crisp and clean but not super harsh. Good luck. Try and listen to the set if possible first before you buy. It will sound quite different in a vehicle but it will give you a bit or an idea on display.
  9. Add one of the items to cart then apply coupon code and you can see how much the discount is
  10. 1 big end of story. And your the one asking for info so I'd be a little more thought full when you have no idea who your talking to.
  11. I was worried about the age as well. Id love an SP4, but its a little outside my price range and intended use, I'm budgeting about $350 give or take for a 15" or 18" for my new setup so i figured if I could score an XXX with a box for that I'd be ahead. So for my $350, ive been looking at the Icon 18", Death row 15", Fi bl 18" or bl 15" + options. Any recommendations or others I should consider around there? Im not going for spl competitions, just something that can get low and loud while retaining good musical quality. My 2 icon 15"s get very low and loud but I'm amazed at the crispness of the sound. Sound amazing playing some slowed sub 30hz music then switch to a fast rock or metal song and you'd think I had two sealed tens only the icons have a lot more punch. I haven't personally owned the others and have heard good things about all those subs but damn I love my Icons. plus the logo and inverted dust cap is so sexy!
  12. If you want to get loud you'll get a JL Audio W7 8 that retails for a blistering 439 dollars and 95 cents
  13. Its always nice to have a spare amp or two...... or half dozen or so
  14. But...we get to wait and see haha Figured. Can always hope though! Love seeing these big builds.
  15. Looking forward to the build! I just put two 15" SSA Icons In my Dakota, box is 7.2 cubic feet tuned to 32hz via a 5x20.25" slot port if I remember right. Kills the lows and has serious punch on rock etc. Got Ram Designs to Design it.
  16. You need one of these turbine blowers! i sell these tractors and attachments up in Canada, they are handbuilt in Ohio.
  17. So at a tuning of 32hz I should set my ssf to around 24-25hz safely? (given all other settings are correct)
  18. Ya that's what I thought. Gonna do some checking up and make sure its wired at 1 ohm. It was so impressive with 200 watts just was hoping it would be a lot more. Very happy with it though. Sounds amazing
  19. Ya its really nice. He had an 06 f350 6L that was having some issues so he decided to trade it in. Got to drive it from work today and wow lots of power, quite and drives so much nicer than his 06. His new truck is a 2012 f350 lariat with Nav and premium sound. Has levelling kit and he's putting on a chrome west in bumper
  20. So yesterday I recieved the 250 amp Singer alt and installed it right away. Was easier than I expected, wow I used to get some light dimming with 500 rms on my d2700 but just got my Crescendo BC2000D wired up to one ohm and another small highs amp and have no dimming at all even cranked at idle. One thing I was surprised is that going from 100rms each sub to around 1000 each sub barely gained any output, just made the bass hit a lot tighter. The subs sound amazing now though. Alt installed with new shorter belt Also my dad got a new truck this weekend.
  21. Only issue I've had with mine is the Bluetooth doesn't go through the amps which sucks but its weird cuts one time it will work then if I take off negative terminal it all of a sudden won't work again. Probably just some setting but haven't figured it out yet
  22. Thanks man it shouldn't be too much longer. I ordered a Kenwood 996 a few days ago, it should be here fairly soon. I sold both of my amps and will be deciding on the replacements soon. My car is gutted and I hate when I have to drive it haha. Ya I hate driving with no bass or good speakers! I like the nice Kenwood decks! I'm running a kdc bt948u and love it, lots of options/ settings and fairly easy to navigate controls.
  23. That's awesome! ya when they called and complained about dishes rattling it just made me smile I'll just have to be even more respectful but in the past I never crank it close to houses and latest in past has never been after 8. Just put my new alt and new amp in so I just wanted to check if it was wired right.
