  1. you dont have a ford! I have a friend who does. If he wanted one I could help him out.
  2. Do you have a pic of what comes with the idler kit? I'm curious to know what's involved before taking the plunge.
  3. Ouch. Hope you guys are back online safely, crashing tools and scraping parts hurts. Good luck.
  4. I had trouble with a crashing HAAS. It turned out to be my coding. The CAM software would animate a rapid movement in a straight line from point "a" to point "b". In reality when the machine machine would execute a rapid move it would turn both the "x" and "y" servos at max rpm. The tool would travel at a 45 degree linear motion towards point "b" then shut off one servo, completing the move in a straight line motion. It took adjusting setting in my CAM software to get it resolved. Pain in the ass to figure out what was going on though. If you ever need programing help let me know I'd be glad to help.
  5. Congrats, everything is becoming a reality.
  6. True story, saw it with my own eyes. O_o
  7. WOW! Chit, I don't know what to say. Those are some humbling words from who I consider a true and honest heavy hitter. Thanks man. All I need now is a little work on the sub-stage and I'll be set.
  8. Ha ha. What I meant was that I look like a dork in a pic I come out in. As for pics this is the only one I took. :\ I've been off on my pic taking game as of lately.

  10. It was a fun lil show. My poor 9515s are still trying to cool off from all the demoing. P.S. I take the worst pictures. See you all at the next show.
  11. Good read. Right now I'm in the position of having subs with the wrong coil configuration so I am going to strap a pair of amps to get max output out of them. Once I do that and cook the coils I recone to the proper voice coil cofiguration to get the most out of my amps without having to strap them together. I'm joking about cooking the coils. Thanks for sharing the pitfalls of strapping amps.
  12. I see what you did there.

  22. I had the exact same thing happen to me at the supermarket the other day. Some little kid with a football just ran right into me. Not to worry I took him down before he made it to the produce section for a TD. 1st Poast in IHOP!
  23. Bummer of a situation. I'm not in the wrecker business, but I would expect that if the SMPD request a wrecker, the second the wrecker shows the wrecker driver would have the officer at the scene sign, date, and time stamp some sort of report. With that you can easily send the city a bill. Other than that it's just gonna be politics, the good ol' boys club of scratch my back and we'll see if I shoot crumbs your way. It's the world we live in, sadly. A lawyer will help, but it's a sure fire way to get you kicked out of the good ol' boys club if you know what I mean. :/ If you're game for some politics take Mr. Cook on his offer and meet him. Nothing like a little face to face to let someone know who they are dealing with. Men in charge dig that sort of feistyness, it's a sort of reminder of when they were young sort of thing. One thing though, don't show up if the wrecker isn't up to code. One other route, and don't quote me on this, but I think the wrecker industry is regulated by the railroad commission. You can try getting a hold of the local rep for the railroad commission and rub elbows with him and see if he'll put the squeeze on Mr. Cook. Good luck bro, the main thing is to convey to them that you are a small business offering a service that is dependent on payment for all services rendered.
