  1. This. ^^^ With the space used to build a box for a ported SA8 you could also build a box for a pair of sealed 10. I heard some Fi X 10s, sealed in .5cuft ea. They definitely got after it. Granted it was four of them in a Magnum, but a pair in a sedan could be comparable.
  2. Thanks. Well, I get one of these thingies under my avatar. Over there, obviously, and they threw in a pair of DC LV2 12s and a 1200 watt DC amp. Pretty cool.
  3. That's what I'm talking about, ^^^ right there. Thanks everybody.
  4. For those just waking up, I was in the running for "System of the Month" (SOTM) over on the SMD forum. I called up upon my bothers here on SSA, quite a few actually, to lend their support and cast a vote for me. Well, quite a few of them did. Enough of them, as a matter of fact, to secure a win. I'd like to thank all of them for there support and generosity. Thank you. I'd also like to thank the community as a whole, for their support, in sight, and willingness to help out. A very big factor in helping me complete my "dream" build.
  5. 10" Xcon looks bada$$. Dreaming of a trio of them on the rear deck of my Monte Carlo.

  7. Count me in. Should make for a great SSA South Texas get together. I'll make sure to bring my camera this time.
  8. Great pics, but they are effing huge. Is it me, or does it look like the girl on the right is getting ready to give the tall guy next to her the ol' Mississippi back hand?
  9. Looks cool. Wish I could hear you mid-bass setup.
  10. I heard someone's face melted off because of all the bass. Good turn out. SSA well represented. Bummer I forgot my camera. It was great seeing everyone. Catch you all at the next show.

  17. [official thread jack] Fellas, As some of you already know, I am in the official running for system of the month (SOTM) over on the SMD site. I could really use your votes. For those you you who haven't already, consider posting a vote for me. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance and carry on. onebadmonte SOTM July 2011 [/official thread jack]
  18. I've got an umbrella and some baseball caps. o_o
  19. Sorry I'm late to the party fellas, I got side tracked when I learn of some gardening forums while reading this thread. This build has been bad ass. I must admit tho this is my fav pic of them all. Your one lucky guy to be piloting this bad boy.
  20. So, who is running what class? I'll probably be in stock 1801-up. Yeah, right. Because of the battery rack I'm either in SB5 or Super Modified 4001+. Good luck to all those who make out. Have fun and say hello, most importantly drive safe.
  21. Here is a link to the instruction manual. McBay Coil Spacers The second page is for trucks & suvs. It says bottom for suburban. I really don't think it makes a difference. The spring is taller than than the space available when the rear suspension is a full droop.
  22. Really? The manual said for my app to put them on the bottom. Dang it man, now you've got me questioning what I read. I'm gonna have to double check the manual now. Wonk, wonk, wonk....
