  1. Nice man, that air movement looks crazeh.
  2. I know haha, He looked like he was in pain.
  3. Crescendo bc2000d, 1100 @ 2ohms, 2250 @ 1ohm thought you were asking what a good amp would be to buy... my bad.. should read closer. -sigghh- thats awkward.
  4. Because I could have used it on the mids and highs for when I upgraded. But my plan has changed. Doing 6 dcons, and I'm not sure what amp(s) I'm going to use now.
  5. Thanks guys, Ill look into knu 0g and im not sure at all the route im going to go with sound deadener. Thats going to be a huge undertaking considering the age of my truck. On another note, Might be switching to 6 SSA Dcon 15s! trying to squeeze enough port in atm. Buying the amps and front stage are last in my priority atm unfortunately. Box built first, then subs, then amps, then front stage and deck. Also any way to edit the original post..? the edit button disappeared.
  6. That's some crazy air movement Very impressive. I hope to create that much movement one day. one upgrade at a time! or as soon as I win the lottery...
  7. Happy birthday
  8. Well yeah, if your doing flush mount then you pretty much have to. Forgot about that..
  9. Yeah Fi seems to be ridiculously slow sometimes, but that's cause they have ridiculously good products! Think about it that way. that being said, I would be tired of waiting after 2 months though too...
  10. I always cut the hole after gluing, but everyone has a different opinion. It doesn't really matter as long as you cut the hole straight and centered.
  11. Budget Build, It is going to take awhile to get everything sorted out but right now this is my plan. Green = Decided Red = Undecided 1 Pioneer 80-Prs (active) 1 Crescendo 1100.4 - On Subs 1 Soundstream rubicon 2.600 - On Mids 1 Stetsom 200.2 or Lanzar VCT 4ch - On Highs 2 Crescendo ft1s 2 Crescendo 6.5s 2 Crescendo 10s or 8s 4 SSA Dcon 15s in a slide-in wall. tuned between 32-35. Around 170in of Port. 1 Mechman 270-320amp Alt 2 Diehard platinums @ front 2 HC1200 @ amps 1 Stinger voltage meter Audiotechnix 0g Audiotechnix 12g Audiotechnix Premium Rcas Audiotechnix 80mil Eventually I'll switch from the Dcons to something bigger, but for now 4 Dcons is the plan. Thats the reason, some of my options are a little bit much compared to the rest of the build. Suggestions, Advice, constructive criticism is welcome Sand these a little more, prime, paint, and These will be going on my wall and the surrounding area. Going to be in typical SSA colors. (red, white, black) The design isn't finished, gonna switch it up a bit. But it gives you an idea.
  12. I have the exact same pool table Wish I had the cash for the amp, id buy it for sure.
  13. It looks so nice as it is, I wouldn't want to hide those beauties.
  14. I honestly don't see 1 dcon ported being better then 2 dcons sealed. That wasn't the case when I tried it at least. Not sure if your still thinking about that, but thought I'd give my opinion.
  15. I think it really depends on what you expect from the sub, and what kind of sound your looking for. To me from and SQ standpoint the Dcon 15s sealed were very impressive, the bass was very crisp and clean. Sure they weren't super loud, and the lows were not very good, but they were not disappointing in terms of output in my opinion. Since your doing 10s or 12s I would definitely go ported, cause with less cone area comes less output, and your more likely to be disappointed by sealed. Plus for the 12s they dip a little lower compared to the 10s and 15s, so you could take advantage of that with ported.
  16. Well your attitude doesn't seem the friendliest so what do you expect? But yes, you can expect to get very direct/straight up answers here. Anyways.. Box probably isn't ideal for the sub, every sub is going to need a different box to be optimal. Assuming you just popped the sub in the box you already had, that's probably it,
  17. This build reminds me that I almost bought a pristine 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark V instead of the Bronco I have. Old Lincolns are sexy. Would have been a great candidate for bass considering its a big ass car. Plus it had big block 460 in it, leather seats, and large trunk.
  18. Is the song box chevy by yelawolf? if so good song choice. part 2 is a lot better in my opinion though. On topic, I like this build a lot, looking forward to seeing this pan out.
  19. Haha, I didn't notice either.. just jumping on the bandwagon I guess.
  20. The Dcon 15s sound really great sealed. Can't say much for the smaller ones, as I have not heard them. What I've heard is that the 10s and 12s really lose output. Im guessing that a 15 is too big from what you've said.
  21. Haha its hard to say If I would have said anything or not.. probably with SSA, but any other company id just keep it.
  22. I'm diggin the mustache tape even if it's a little ghetto.
