i was just sharing a story of what happends in some cases.... i have on more then 1 occasion.. sold somthing for a high price because it was worth it to me... and it was worth it to someone else so they paid me... they found value in it .... but then they sold it for what ever reason... then that somone traded it for somthing they wanted.. then i end up buying it back for next to nothing,,,... i love it when stuff comes full circle and makes it back home

the market here is some times flooded with stole things that are not hot......IE some of these mexicans around my way are pretty smart... and if they applied them selfs legaly they could do big things... but its cooler to be a cholo. anyway... they have a spoter in say Chicago there lil cuzin named lefty or something... so he spends his time driving around.. and spotting cars with rims at there house!! he takes a note.. 2 times a year these guys drive up from texas.. spend a week jacking people everynight... then... bring them back to texas and sell the wheels and stereos... where they are not being looked for... and they can sell them with out a " hot warning" so they can get more value. with our a worry of someone bettingf busted and saying i got them from so and so.. he sold them to me........ pretty smart... but its goes even further then that.... they robs cars here! there own friends. car dealer ships what ever.... take them up north and have lefty sell the texas rims and audio up north... where again.. its not being looked for..... pretty smart for some cholos im drunk.. but its a true story.

i would not even think about it... but.. like i said.. i googled and i found plenty of people that "know tons of people" that have done it.... but i cant find any of the,... who are they!!!!

well i was googleing.. and i see alot of people saying " i know alot of people who run it at .25 daily" but i cant seem to find any people who have done it!!!! weird right?

are you ??? i see you claim to know so much and have advice for everyone else.. how ever foolish it maybe... but have yet to post a single pic of your anything.......... What do you run Chris? I'm interested. What are you doing for your new enclosure Lantz? i haven't decided what to get for subs im looking at FI sp4 & n2 or mayhem or dc but i have a pic of my equipment of course i ment inside your own topic, or build log, but thanks for posting.. looks like you have some decent equitment... but also a barrage of audio control items that dont normally fit so well togather.. make your own topic, i would love to hear your plans of an install.

no one of my RCAs was half way pulled out of the amp.. then after i plugged it in.. i listened to it quickly and i think my mind was stuck on the amp playing at 2 ohms. so yes lol shit. yes and no

went and borrowed a friends meter... a good one..... 1 ohm at the amp... i feel this big sorry to waste every ones time because of my meters.

both my DMMS are wrong? i have alot of speakers laying around here... i just metered them all.... every 4ohm speaker i meter reads 4 ohms.... every 8 ohm speaker 8 ohms every 2 ohm speaker meters 2 ohms....... go back out to my car... 2 ohms at the amp.

so i may have two half broken coils one on each sub... at the same time.? you know whats funny.... im not even mad at my self... i wanted to pull the box anyway,... and i wanted to recone the subs to dual 2's any how..... i had just NEVER seen this issue before. blew my mind. Most likely not -- it would say ~2 ohms more than likely if they were half out. See the first part of the post; touch the DMM leads together and see what it says first. my DMM reading jumps around ALOT.. when i i touch them togather... but it settles at 1. and .9 so 1 ohm i guess.

well i dont know it.. and im sick of this fucker.... i know you pretty much stay here in the Ihop.. but if you look at his post he NEVER has ANYTHING to HELP a topic.... everything he says is jackassery.. makes comments and says shit that has nothing to do with car audio.... and then when he does ATTEMPT to talk audio HE KNOWS NOTHING!!! but speak as if its gospel .. i hate a mother fucking that talks all day but never says shit... You can simply choose to ignore or block him/his posts. Don't let the man get you down. please dont think hes "getting me down" i could give a shit about that fucktard. hits worthless comments mean nothing to me. i just wont stand idly by and watch it with out a comment..... and for his last attempt to attack me with his intellect i did not respond because i stated i would not... so im a man of my word. anyway... like i said,. they are cold. i dont see the short run of wire i have causing a 1 full ohm ..... ill pull the subs when i get a chance....

Because there isn't a reason. It's perfectly fine. I would guess he meant to say that the amplifier is not 2ohm stable bridged. ah good call
