HDDs thats what i have been looking at.. waiting for some testing from alan , we had a good talk at BB finals i was stocked watching those 2 10 inch HDDs take 15000 watts . -
What in particular makes you say that? Not sure for his reasoning, I do know some key points that may be. Cheaper build time of only 7 business days (although only one motor left at this time with new ETA of 90 days) higher rms Company is closer to him ~20-30 pounds heavier Really not much cheaper (according to the price posted here) once you factor in the cost of shipping. Shipping would pretty much equal the price out. Tried finding a website with specs on them but google returned nothing but a facebook page. There is none, it has been "in the works" since some time last year. Also, specs have been requested many times on their vendor section with nothing, I've contacted Alan Hall also in request from them and was told Monday he would have them, its going into wednesday now. I did speak with the owner at Finals last year, he did seem a bit "unfriendly". I asked a few questions with only a few words of reply. if its the same guy i met Ronal Murphy i think his name is.... it seems thats just his personality, short direct very blunt. misunderstood kinda like me.

Maybe 35 bucks in gas? Higher RMS, I know the design and the reasons for the different little ques other motors don't have. I know the owner too, so that helps, probably makes slightly biased. I'm not putting the evil down. Price per performance doesn't seem to be there. Maybe if the evil was 550-600 tops it would seem better. If you know the owner and are so close how come your not running their subs? Just curious He won the IA contest. the dream system what ever what ever?

man man it looks like your building a sub just for me ( as i need a sub with low FS and loves a small box) but im wondering how accurate the RMS rating is... as ill want to throw way more power at them. in burps and daily, i have a NS-1

the SSA Zcons took me to victory in the texas bass battles finals and a few videos but im really happy about this one. and i got a bail out on tape!!

musicly... well .. they are peaky in my car... maybe even more so because the size of my box, they play high, and hard, they sound good, i like the lows so i cant honestly say i love the way they sound. the Zcons fuckin LOVE a 4th order.

151.7 is my burp peak with the Zcons, i have a NS-1 @ .35 ohms. .... i never clamped.. so im not sure on exactly how much power they are seeing,152.5 was with the sundown nightshades,

the nice thing about having a huge box is that your need for huge power goes down, the smaller the box the more power you will need generally hows does it play in 4.7 cubes now? i have a pair in less then 6 cubes after displacement, and they dont like in IMO.

i can say this..... the evil and the tantric SHD are no where close to each other. the only thing that even looks where near the evil is the basket.

Nice! You're still rockin the ZCONs? for now.. until my recones come in for the nightshades, but if what im hearing is true, the evils are less peaky, so it may be an option in the future, as that is one of my issues now.

im a few DBz down from the sundowns but i know why, and it is what it is, its still loud as fucking balls,. just in a different way! peaks way higher. but im gonna rep for the home team sunday! thanks guys
