A bit more cone area for about the same price. You will need .5-1 cubic foot more box volume for the 12. They will both sound great just pick whichever one fits your space requirements.

Correct get a dual 2 to get a one ohm load. Depending on how much room you would be willing to sacrifice, I'd grab the 12 over the 10. Nice amp by the way.

Try loading your avatar from photobucket. I remember when I changed mine one of the two ways wouldn't work.
First off the DD1 is a joke. Second the gear you are looking at is all quality stuff.
Nice to finally hear someone taking the time to share a good experience. For every 100 negative things said you might get 1 person who bothers sharing a good experience. (Not speaking of Fi, just people in general take the time to complain, but not commend) Thank you for doing that!

I bet that was super peaky and fell off super quick below tuning. It sure did, but it was loud as hell and moved some air
I had mine in 5 cubes net with ~ 100 square inches of port area. If I were to do it again I would use a little bit less port area.
After all displacements, yes they would work just fine.
No you are not under powering them.
