My Asus is the best laptop I have ever had. When I look for one in the future it will most likely be another Asus. I've had and hated 2 Toshiba laptops.

Try to sample some to get a feeling for what you like. Components are hard to suggest as people have different preferences. What is your budget? Make sure you also budget for some deadening.

Yeah it sucks swapping the HU with a bose system. It's an excuse to upgrade though. Looks good so far!
