Well what voice coil configuration will you be getting? Are your buddy's the same coil configuration as yours? Do you have the room for six 12's?

You should not wire lower than is recommended for your amplifier and count on "rising to a safe level".

Measure inside your engine bay, I probably only used ~8-10 feet for my big 3. I like doing wiring right the first time because it is a pain in the ass, so if it were me I'd run the knu wire.

It is VERY easy to do your own big 3 "kit" and I would not recommend that brand. The Knu kit is pretty good though.

This^ if I ever need some cut I go late when nobody is there. The cuts are always perfect, but that is completely dependent on the person doing the cutting. The same people are always there so I give them a tip and they take their time, and do it right. I also agree with Steve, the only way to get better is to practice. You'll get it eventually.
