  1. Sups up, port back in a pickup truck? Thought people only recommended that for SUV's
  2. Its nice to get into a warm car, especially when there's a foot of snow outside
  3. You don't have like a bicycle patch or anything? I googled it and all I'm seeing is patch it, then put a metal clamp on both sides of the patch
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLwDYGIczc0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO4GxdihE_0 Mine are in a 7.5 cuft Enclosure and I'm feeding them just about RMS Wattage and I'm happy with them.
  5. I'm happy with my Obsidian's, and they're cheap.
  6. You mention being worried because of your vehicle being a daily driver, but mention an alt with a 2 year warranty. Even I can see that Singer or Tenney would be a better choice just because of their lifetime warranty. I would probably do Singer over Tenney ATM, but to each their own I guess. Little background why I say Singer.. Having more issues with my Tenney again. This is the second time and now he's saying the alt I sent back had nothing wrong with it. This time I took videos. It simply stopped charging at low RPM, but whatever. I will keep getting replacements since I have a lifetime warranty. Just imagine for a sec though. Alternators main enemy is heat. Hi amp alternators go out just as much as stock ones do. After 2 years you may just be spending another 700 bucks as to where "if my company is still around" I still get a free replacement. While I do agree that the alternator you picked is a lot better quality. It doesn't make up for the fact that you're paying a lot more for a lot less in the long run. I know I tried to make sense by stating for you to go for quantity over quality, but I sure as hell wouldn't pay for 4 of those lol. Get the damn quad bracket setup for ad244's and just be happy man. You can get friggin 400+amp alternators and will look back and laugh at the idea of staying with a single alt setup. Especially for your future plans. You could always get the alt for now and sell it later too. Enough logic though. Just get a damn HO alt already. It almost pisses me off to see you running all your equipment off of a stock alternator. I mean what'd the poor thing do to you? lol This right here is exactly what made me choose Singer over his competitors, that and his amazing customer service. I can't vouch on the product yet though as mine isn't due to be done until the end of this week. But I will say what made me stay away from Tenney is that a lot of my emails had to be sent a few times over a 2 week span and I still wouldn't receive a reply
  7. As of right now just a 2000, the BIGGEST I would go is a 3500
  8. Right now I'm running a HFI 1500D. I'm planning on going with a Crescendo or Sundown amp, but I want my electrical to be set before dishing out money on a new amp and possibly causing harm to it.
  9. I ordered a 270 Amp alternator from Singer a little over a week ago, and he said it should be ready for shipment by the end of this week. I'm looking to upgrade my battery under the hood now, and in a few weeks throw another one in the back if needed. there's a ton of batteries to choose from...and from what I've read around on this forum you want a AGM/Deep Cycle batteries but if thats all your looking at there's a LOT of options. So my question is what specifications from batteries should you look at when related to car audio, right now I'm looking at a DieHard Platinum. What specs should I look at when comparing this battery to say, a Yellow Top Optima? Is this a good choice on a battery or can I get a better bang for my buck? (I've tried searching up information on the topic, and its really hard to find anything useful. I basically see a whole bunch of either go with XS Power/Yellow Top...Which I'm not saying is a bad thing but no one explains why to go with these batteries and just a lot of claims you should.)
  10. Is it a bootleg wheels on the bus CD?
  11. i didn't know nobody cares about "this kinda shit" or rap, its not in the rules funny though every demo vid has rap playing...... i wanted to share a funny video in the video section,so i did if u don't like it then don't reply, gtfo flaming members do i flame your factory painted lincoln? i lurk this forum frequently and rarely see any new content so excuse me 4 trying There's a problem with factory paint?
  12. One of these days I'm gonna win the jackpot.....as soon as I start actually playing.
  13. Depends how bad of shape his suspension really is in I guess, not really good to put bandaids on a suspension can make for a bad accident
  14. Thanks Neal... sometimes wish I went to school for auto mechanics .... I hate paying arsehos to do work on my car only to have them tell me something else is causing it after they suggested the original repair to fix the described issue... WTF with these money hungry arsehos... I'm willing to pay but fix the fcking problem.... SMH at this shyt bro... Too bad you aren't closer, Id have no problem helping you replace your suspension. $900 Seems steep to replace a rear suspension, especially in a shop environment with a lift/ air tools etc... I'd definitely take it to a few more mechanics and shop around for a better price
  15. I would think that wouldn't be true though.... If I was switching from an SSD 18" to a BTL 18", even on the same power it should be louder. Why? What in particular makes you say that? Better power handling. Yeah but you're gonna be using the same enclosure, and providing the same amount of power. So regardless the amount of CLEAN power you can provide to the sub woofer, will remain the same. And even at that the sub you currently have has a rating to handle every bit of the power you're throwing at it right now.
  16. Decided I wanted to try a new box out so, It ended up being 6.9 ft³, and tuned to 28 Hz Hopefully the weather isn't too bad this weekend and I can get started on this.

  18. Crescendo makes quality amplifiers, and leaving room for upgrades it never a bad thought.
  19. Not really the way it works..... AT ALL. You would never hear a difference between 1500 and 2000 watts. Subs don't need a certain power to "come alive" like most people think. This, Go ahead and look at Sencheezys thread of him putting 600 Watts, to a SSA Evil.
  20. I have a 02 Laredo, and am running 7.5 Cubes atm, but I could easily fit 8 Cubes without losing my backseat/window visibility

  23. Thats what I was thinking but 25 pounds in shipping materials?
  24. That's why I said unless that's something different, it seems pretty high.
  25. It says weight in the store right under the price, unless that's something different.
