  1. I am biased, so my opinon does not really count. Both the ICON and SSD are good choices.
  2. As I have driven the most recent of Z06's, at over $70, I really don't feel it is such a bargain. In reality, the small fractions of performance superiority of the Corvette over competitors will never been expereienced by 90% of Corvette owners. In the end, would I pay $75k for the top end Corvette, or $75 for a modest 911? I would choose the 911 every time. Yes it is more expensive to own, but I know the quality is superior, I would feel safer, and know that it will not depreciate at the rate the Corvette will. Unless I were to suddenly come upon a great deal of money and had the need for a rocket sled that had to be under $100k, maybe I would consider the Corvette. But in all honesty at that point, I feel there are better cars to spend my money on when money is of less value to me. The Corvette is an insane car, there is no denying that, I know first hand the best of all Corvettes made has an unreal engine and good suspension, but that is pretty much it. There are a few things I expect from a car depending the price bracket it falls in. As Sean mentioned before there is too much cost & quality cutting going on, and it shows in the Z06. I will take an M3 please.

  4. Let me move this to the SSA section and answer it at the same time. As for an ICON 8, it will not work with the coil. We have plans for a mid level line down the road that will come in 8/10/12/15. But that will not be any time soon. Do you not have the space for 4 10" drivers? If not, there is the Assassin 8, and the soon to return RL-i 8, and the up comming Sundown 8". Mach5 has toyed with the idea for an 8" driver, but it seems the interest has been up and down. Hope that helps some.

That MPS2500 is in awesome shape.
  6. Leaving for the Ravens Game! Going to try to take some pix.
  7. Hey Bob, talked to Patrick finally. He said it got hacked again. But both he and Bill are out of town so no one is there to upload the back up. So when ever he gets back I assume it will be up.

No, they are ratted like the old RF amps. The 45's are doing something like 350, 75's are 500ish and I have seen some 150s in the upper 800 range.

The 25 to life amps can be found very cheap, would be good if you have a D2
  10. Look forward to pix!!! But there are no more miniliths left. If you had a 4 ohm load you could use a Deuce instead if you still wanted ZED.
  11. I have pretty much every The Who album on LP. 173748
  12. Welcome to SSA and we are always working on upgrading.
  13. I just got off the phone with Webster. Said he has got a 7 hour drive ahead of him, not to mention having to swap out an amp.
  14. Out of no where, INTERVIEW !!!
  15. That amp will not require the need of power handling advantage of flatwound, unless you plan to upgrade in the future. The copper coil seems to be a favorite of people wanting the smoothest sound they can get.
  16. Looks great.
