Another 'which sub' thread!
I used to vote more on the side of the single driver installs, but the two different 10" ideas are good choices also. I know the RL-i is a very proven driver. The Arsenal is new to market but comes from a top notch build house with a great designer behind it.

RL-i 8...Magnet? VC?
All RL-i 8 owners have had rave reviews. The SQ and the performance of the sub has never been in question. Great driver.

Welcome to the IHoP
I think we are actually going out tonight, but Arthur is coming along, so we are not staying there very long.

Welcome to the IHoP
On this day in 1978, Double Eagle II became the first balloon to cross the Atlantic Ocean. In 1970, Venera 7 (the first spacecraft to successfully transmit data from the surface of another planet) was launched. In 1959, Quake Lake was formed in Montana by a 7.5 rated earthquake. In 1807, Robert Fulton's first American steamboat left New York City, inaugurating the world's first commercial steamboat service. And in 1717, pioneer Daniel Boone's grandfather George set sail from England to America. Happy Birthday Sean Penn (1960), Belinda Carlisle (1958), Robert De Niro (1943), Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. (1914), Mae West (1893), Samuel Goldwyn (1882) and Davy Crockett (1786). RIP Pearl Bailey (d. 1990), Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. (1988), Ira Gershwin (1983) and Vivian Vance (1979). "Spare no expense to save money on this one." - Samuel Goldwyn

RL-i 8...Magnet? VC?
Just a fair warning. The RL-i 8's will be out of stock for a little while. I would say you reduce the total number of sub a little and run the RL-i 10's. Same sub, just larger cone.

Resident Mod From ROE
You are not to far from the house I grew up at. And I am only an hour past it, but I am not able to do any shows anytime soon. I just moved up this way like 3 years ago or so. I used to live out in Bel Air for the majority of my life. I love this area. Nice and open lol. dont have to worry bout people complaining about bass and dragging the truck lol EDIT: Im actually lookin at apartments with my friend in the Towson region now lol Our house is just north of bel air, and we moved here from a Towson apartment.

Wow, I need to find money for the Crystal.- SSA going to help out Realmofexcursion.com
Guys relax, nothing is going to change at SSA, we still have lots of work here as always. Which reminds me of something I need to do.- SSA going to help out Realmofexcursion.com
The ROE crowd will stay there, we are not merging, SSA and ROE are two separate entities. ROE needs some maintenance and someone to take care of the store. Shon is not able to do it because of schedule, so we are going to help out.- 12" RL-P vs. 12" FI-Q
not to hijack but could you expand a little more. i am looking at getting new sub(s) in the near future and both subs are on my list. any info would be great. I own an RL-p, so I have more experience with it based on that alone. It seems to have a good number of fans and a few people that have mixed emotions. I feel it is a strong sub that does not need gobs of power and has nice excursion and response all the way across the sub sonic range for my tastes, having a very thick presence to its sound. I do like the TC-9 motored drivers and the RL-p really seems to shine in low tuned ported boxes, in both output and SQ. The Q, in my experience was more of a smooth driver then the RL-p, kind of a more mellow sound. Very strong output in both ported and sealed. Seems to have a higher wattage limit then the RL-p, and has some customization from the build house. The Q seems to have a little crisper and lighter sound then the RL-p. I feel both have good strengths and it is a coin toss in the end. I think that 90% of the people out there will be very happy with either.- new to the forums
