  1. The ROE crowd will stay there, we are not merging, SSA and ROE are two separate entities. ROE needs some maintenance and someone to take care of the store. Shon is not able to do it because of schedule, so we are going to help out.
  2. not to hijack but could you expand a little more. i am looking at getting new sub(s) in the near future and both subs are on my list. any info would be great. I own an RL-p, so I have more experience with it based on that alone. It seems to have a good number of fans and a few people that have mixed emotions. I feel it is a strong sub that does not need gobs of power and has nice excursion and response all the way across the sub sonic range for my tastes, having a very thick presence to its sound. I do like the TC-9 motored drivers and the RL-p really seems to shine in low tuned ported boxes, in both output and SQ. The Q, in my experience was more of a smooth driver then the RL-p, kind of a more mellow sound. Very strong output in both ported and sealed. Seems to have a higher wattage limit then the RL-p, and has some customization from the build house. The Q seems to have a little crisper and lighter sound then the RL-p. I feel both have good strengths and it is a coin toss in the end. I think that 90% of the people out there will be very happy with either.
  3. An eD product fail? No you can't be serious.
  4. Yes the 10's do spec out to like more ported boxes then the 12's but everything changes in the real world of your install and you will only find out by testing. I have not have the time or the play money to test the SD-1's. You could always run the 12's sealed, or the do the pair of 10's ported. Either would be a good choice IMO.
  5. The IXL is worth a look.
  6. Looking forward to the results.
  7. Be careful, because this is not a standard ICON we cannot warranty it. We have not tested the soft parts on that motor and will not know the results until you build it. But yes, it is dual stiff spiders.
  8. Showing up here on FF. I did close out and reopen a new window if that helps at all.
  9. Any way you slice it... developing a new board is extremely expensive. And yah... I don't know what their problem is with my products! Crap such as that makes me very angry.
  10. The RL-i 10's are a great choice, I love my RL-i 8.
  11. John your idea makes sense, but the ICON is not meant to take a "shit ton" of power and is not designed with peak db #'s in mind.
  12. Based on this quote.. the mentioned idea of seems to be a good choice.
  13. Because then anyone that has a single driver could be on the team per say. This is for someone who is really serious about it and wanting to compete with top people.
  14. Actually, if you just do the BIG3 you should be fine with the Sundown SAE-1000D. It is a good match for pair of RL-i 10's.
  15. P.P.P.S. Me3
  16. I am confused, are you asking which of the different subs would be good for you?
  17. Nick you tease, only one picture.
  18. We are glad you joined. Stick around a while and if you get a chance post up some pictures of installs.
