Yeah, I really look forward to Kents review. He said he will try sealed, and maybe 2 ported configurations.

Glen Bernie 1x this weekend
Well every year since 2k3 there has been less and less competitions in the area, and I know the guy who does most of the dbdrag in the area is leaving.

Glen Bernie 1x this weekend
Well I had some problems for an unknown reason. Same equipment, same settings, lost 4bd first round. Borrowed another disk, got 2 back. Went to eliminations and won because the guy I went up against was beating the crap out of his sub all day and the heat got to it. Advanced on to the finals, and guess who I get to go up against? None other then Terry Brocks, as in mr Street A. So I had not chance, even though he was having problems and his score was dropping every round, he still took me by a great deal. He cooked his HiFonics in a bye round, but his first try was a 156.6. Keep in mind that is with 2 10's and a single amp. Unreal. Any other show I would have won, but the world champion had to show up at mine. Haha. Anyway, the Mach5 held up fine, I know the weak points in the set up and I am going to maybe push to get a little more out of it, but I just don't have the money to do much else.

Welcome to the IHoP
On this day in 2004, Venus made its First Transit of the millennium. In 1995, Rasmus Lerdorf launched version 1.0 of the PHP scripting language. In 1959, the USS Barbero and U.S. Postal Service attempted mail delivery via Missile Mail. And in 1887, Herman Hollerith received a patent for his punch card calculator. Happy Birthday Julianna Margulies (1966), Milli Vanilli "singer" Rob Pilatus (1965), Duran Duran's Nick Rhodes (1962), Keenen Ivory Wayans (1958), Griffin Dunne and Tim Berners-Lee (1955), Sonia Braga (1950), Boz Scaggs (1944), Nancy Sinatra (1940), Joan Rivers (1933), Jerry Stiller (1929), First Lady Barbara Bush (1925), Frank Lloyd Wright (1867) and First Lady Ida McKinley (1847). Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein And Sean, thank you for the link but we are under a time crunch and I gave in to the lack of tools and lack of time, but we pushed and pushed and got a very good deal in the end.

2 10's, 1.1cuft, 1100rms
Ok: SSD's: great sub, seen it been hammered on and held up great with good SQ RL-i: same as above SD2.5: no experience, but not far from a DD dd1500: no experience that model, but prices of DD and customer service turns me off eD: track record of the owner will cause me never to go with them brahma 10: very good SQ sub, but some recent ones were fragile and good luck getting it repaired tc-7: I am a big fan of the Eclipse version of this sub, I have had a pair for years and they have really held up RE SE: good sub, but should be pulled out of the list due to the SSD. So I vote, SSD or RL-i or TC-7.

I need some opinions
The two different subs have advantages over the other, but do you have the space to properly port 4 15's or 4 18's? If yes, the MJ's don't require a monster box and can handle a little more power then ratted for, plus they have a large cone advantage over the SSD's. For the SSD's case, they can be optioned up to your install, some giving the sub more power handling. Both are good subs, and I have been around both. It is a decision of do you want a wow factor of 4 18's, do you want the options to customize your sub for your install? Do you like the specs of one over the other?

Hi From So.cal
Welcome to SSA. I have a 528i and Sean has an ///M5. My doors are 3-way, I cannot remember if yours are the same. Make a new topic in the Speakers / Sub woofer section, that way you will get more attention to your speaker question.

Change is needed in form of MJ-18's
The Q is a very nice driver. If you were to go with the MJ's, from experience, I know they do not need monster boxes.

maw12
The MAW-12 is a solid driver, I still don't understand why they are not flying out of Marks hands. Honestly, I think the MAW model, would be great for bassrace installs. Strong output, and inexpensive.

Got my RL-i8's (2) :)
Tom, why are you asking for pics of Mike?

Welcome to the IHoP
Ok heading home from work now. Soccer later. Oh yeah sean, the 528i passed inspection in delaware, and has failed twice in MD. Same as the sled passed in NJ and failed in MD. I am beyond angry about this and the temp plates run out in 7 days.

Welcome to the IHoP
I wish I had the camera this morning. We were leaving for work and Arthur insisted to walk out to the car. So Amanda said, "Ok buddie, go get in the car". (Keep in mind we dropped off Arthur's (528i) car at the inspection place last night, so he starts off in his little waddle... sees the sled with the cover off and marches right over to it. At the drivers side door he starts patting on the door, (mind you the car is physically as low as it pretty much can be and his head is below the top of the hood and door handle). Amanda tells him no, that they were going in the other car (Civic) today. He looks up with a little pouty look and marches up next to the front wheel. The Brabus wheels are only 18", but they are as tall as him. Just a happy little sight to see. Side note, Amanda asks me via Text this morning if she can show off the SPL install to one of her co-workers.

The SSD's and RL-is are a great option. Maybe look for some Crystal CMP's also.- Glen Bernie 1x this weekend
Anything I can help with?- SSA window decals (stickers)
We are very tight on money, and shirts are on the list for sure. I am thinking we should do a little deal where if you fly an SSA banner on any other website we will send you a free sticker. - 2 10's, 1.1cuft, 1100rms
