Anyway, this weekend went awesome, but none stop. Friday was crazy because I came into my new office and did paperwork and took some corporate engineering exams, came home started the crazy whole house cleaning with Amanda to get ready for Arthur's 1st b-day party, got out the battery charger for the sled which has been sitting for about 2.5 months now and I was sure both batteries were near dead. She and I worked on cleaning and rearranging until nearly 11pm, passed out. Got up early on Sat to pick up right where we left off on the cleaning and set up, dropped Arthur at her parents house, hoped into the sled and made very short work of getting into downtown Philadelphia. I put the sled on the tail of a 2005 ///M5 and we shot up 495 in a hustle. We checked into the Lowes Philadelphia (12th & Market), king suite on 26th floor with wine service. Took a few pictures of our view, which I will post once the new card reader / usb hub gets here (thanks for the recomendation Sean). As soon as we got to our suite, Amanda changed and we headed right back out to a little local Irish pub for some good sandwitches and a beer, then hoped right back into the sled ($14.00 parking for 75 minutes because the hotel lot was sold out due to a convention), scooted over the Ben Frankline Bridge into Camden, NJ (wow what a downgrade). Headed over to the Tweeter Center for the Snow Patrol concert (OKGO opened for them). Outstanding show, they are very good live. Jumped back into the sled, made it back over the Ben Franklin (but was forced to detour around by cops so we were forced to pay the toll) with out getting shot, headed back to the Lowes, droped the sled off, and went on foot to "EL VEZ" a little mexican themed club, had 4 or 5 monster over priced margaritas and some cabo wabo on the side. We passed out around 4:30. Got up early, checked out around 10:45, tucked behind an A6 and Acura MDX and hauled back down I-95. Walked in the door and went into turbo get ready for Party mode. People started showing up around 4ish and everything went smoothly from then on out. Arthur was wiped out because the little guy did not get a nap before the party, but like his dad he pressed on any way. He was given a truck load of gifts and a good 40 people came, along with too much food. Oddly all the beer was gone by the end of the night. Oh by the way today is the first day at the new job and I am ready to put my head down on my desk from the crazy weekend. Two days of spending way too much, but in the end it was awesome and worth it.
