  2. Wow great job.
  3. I agree with Nick, I understand the value of having the warranty go down to 0.5 ohms, but too many inexperienced people buying up too much power and not sure what to do with it. I would saw pull it back to 1ohm to protect yourself.
  4. Check out the MAW-10 HA done. Great review.
  5. Many people like the for their small footprint and good power.
  6. Ok a little story with some history to learn with it. To preface this, I am currently working for a Navy contactor who deals with almost strictly submarine work. During my time here much of my work has been on the primary fairings, NAVSAT, Periscope, HDR, and other comm or system masts. Just yesterday I learned that years ago, during an upgrade / repair due to a collision with a Tug boat, a certain sub the USS Thresher, the company I am at now was part of the work on the USS Thresher. Now here is the history part, the USS Thresher is infamous because it is one of only two US Navy subs to ever be lost / sunk. The other being the USS Scorpion SSN 589 The USS Thresher, SSN 593, had a weldment failure and sunk on April 10th, 1963. All 129 men aboard died nearly instantly. Great portions of the outer skin of the hull was crushed like paper. Here is one of the very pictures that exist of the USS Thresher SSN 593 at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Maine. So now comes the weird part. Most of the completed projects of recent here that I know of, are on the Los Angles Class submarines, SSN 688's. They are nuclear powered attack subs. Yesterday on my way home from work, I head to the gym. I started with Cardio yesterday, and CNN is on along side King of Queens, and Around the Horn. Of the three I will always watch CNN. So about 17 minutes into my cardio, head lines come across the screen.... "SUB SUNK" I felt like WTFmate, did I just jinx something because of the fated USS Thresher SSN 593? Well tuesday night the USS San Juan SSN 751, also a Los Angles class submarine was doing training off the coast of Florida. It was scheduled to report back to port sometime mid evening. The return to port time came and went, no inbound communication was made. A distress signal was sent out, and not answered by the USS San Juan. Instantly other subs and a few air craft carriers in the area scrambled to the approx area where the the USS San Juan was last known. During the massive movement of naval ships to the area a blip showed back up on the radar. The USS San Juan re-established communication at approx 3:30am. Undamaged. So a $900 million piece of machinery and 100+ men were missing for more than a few hours. Here is a picture of the San Juan: So everyone is ok and home safely. Great! But now the really spooky part. This morning I pull into work and a flat bed tractor was here to pic up two masts to go to philadelphia to be re-installed on their original boats. As I get out of the truck, and walk past the massive long crate, the side of it is labeled...... (wait for it) SSN 751 The periscope to the USS San Juan shipped out this morning from here. Sorry for the long story but tell me that is not a little odd.
  7. You can add me to msn if you want.
  8. Before the great data loss of '07, I had a topic that I was daily tracking the alexa traffic ranking of main domain of SSA. As of today the number is the best since I had alexa track our ranking. We are currently sitting at: 978,558 before the upgrade we were hovering in the upper 99x,xxx to 115,xxx range. The closer to 1 the better.
  9. There is a great little place by my mothers house called Momma Java's.
  10. Looking great, love the old PPI !!! Keep teh pictures coming, we love build logs here.
  11. Maybe a flat cone edition ?? flats are easier to sign than dust caps.
  12. I'm amazed more people don't buy the Zed amps, especially when you consider they are some of the best deals out there for what they cost. Almost everyone who buys one will get another one once they see the quality firsthand though. Very true.
  13. Ill probably just end up getting an Orion 2500D, talk about cheap power! I think it is one of the better sub stage amps I have had. I use it now for all my testing.
  14. Favorite Stations?
  15. CHrysler is going to loose all the fine new chassis they were ridding on, not to mention trasnmissions and upper level electronics. Dave won't admit it, but is old Magnum was part E-class.
  16. You going to change your plates? Mike we are going to have to switch you to NJbass and Mark to AZbass.
  17. If that were to go through, well I don't know what to think.
  18. We have had a few ZED customers on the store lately, but I am not sure if they are SSA members or not. I hope to run a Draconia BB and Deuce BB in my SQ install.
  19. Here is a pic with some drivers to play with.
  20. Holy crap, I can't believe it's been a year already. We need some vids of him walking around He is not walking yet, but so close. I have a feeling he is going to be a wrecking ball type of kid. Not the normal type that bounce off of things, but the type that shoulder check right through it. Dave's boy is a tank, somewhat larger than Arthur. I do need to order a new card reader for my camera. Amanda's dad does have video of him which I would love to have myself.
  21. Very nice!! sign me up for 4 surf boards.
  22. The SSA sub will start dual 2 but if need be we will have to offer another coil set up. But I agree with Tom and Kent, with the above choices, I would lean towards the Q/RL-p/TC2000. All three of different design, but all three very good at what they do.
  23. He is doing great, his 1st b-day is on the 29th. We are having a big party for him in 2 weeks!! I swear there is no way he has been here for a year.
