  1. My daily driver is completely done with SDS. Outstanding product. Didn't you used to have a link to that installation build in your signature? It's pinned in the TeamSSA section.
  2. My daily driver is completely done with SDS. Outstanding product.
  3. New motor, old spiders. Was during the transition. All Xcon's can be paired up as the differences are not big enough to throw things off.
  4. Going to attempt summer league tonight on a 60% healed up foot.
  5. First version had a pole vent and no axial CNC channels with black cotton spiders. The current version has a solid pole and axial CNC channels for cooling with Nomex spiders.
  6. Peter has moved into expert user status now.
  7. I had to do the same on my front doors, the AA carbon's were just vibrating the door card enough that it was entering into the sound.
  8. Please try emailing sales @ crescendoaudio.com
  9. Sean packed everything so well, it took me and Arthur a solid 20 minutes to free the enclosure/baffles/towers from the cocoon of bubble wrap and foam. He was super generous and sent some gasket tape and a load of extra connectors that I am low/out of, to assemble this project. The paint on the towers and sub enclosure looks even better in person. The work on all the parts is VERY good, especially for a one of one and from someone who does not do it professionally. I will be sending Sean a non-compete contract so I can have him continue to build for just me since I no longer had the space to build enclosures. No way on this planet could I have ordered a kit from Madisound or PE for 1/2 this price. Calling this a little bedroom set-up is understating it. If I don't screw up the build, this could easily be more of a lower power, full blown home audio set up. Which is perfect for me, as I am keeping my possession foot print as small as I can, as I might move again soon. (Still slowly purging audio from the pyramid) Only thing, which is my fault, is we went with the amp cut out dimensions PE provided for the plate amp. I should have called PE to double check, but I guess I was just slammed at the moment Sean wanted to double check and I just assumed the website would be correct. So about 1-3/4" - 2" need to be added to the height of the cut out.
  10. Hey now. Which is synonymous for working hard. Well I am taking a break from emails to go to the gym, ON A SUNDAY!!! I miss going to the gym on Sunday My schedule was Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. It killed any plans for going out Saturday, gotta be fresh on Sunday though . Go Saturday instead?
  11. Hey now. Which is synonymous for working hard. Well I am taking a break from emails to go to the gym, ON A SUNDAY!!! Hardcore extreme! Decent workout, ran out of juice a little early. Summer league starts tomorrow night.

  13. Understand, please see my post above #19.
  14. If you are suggesting this about SSA, then i suggest you get your information correct. They are LUCKY if they make $15-$20 per driver. You know how much Sundown and Skar and the other companies are making using chinese labor and parts? Five to ten times as much. Now tell me who's hoarding the profit. There is a reason our economy sucks and you don't see US made products much anymore. People want cheap shit and they want it right now. Oh man, I wish we were in a position to "hoard the profit". People don't know how many orders are actually processed, how much actually makes it to us after all the shipping/fees/processing/overhead etc. If we were even remotely in the same time zone to 'hoard profit', Mark and I would not have full time jobs outside of audio. The size of the store and the rate the build house can complete orders is totally independent from each other. I have said a number of times, if people want faster turn around, we can easily raise prices so our build house can charge us a lot more so they can hire more people to increase capacity to reduce turn around time.
  15. Or we can go to China and fix the issue.
  16. I can wait and I have been waiting. I'm more excited than ever to get my sub. My issue is they quote 21+ business day build time and its clearly not the case. It's misleading and in the end these wait times will slow business (in a bad way) which I guess will help others. Under promise and over deliver. I don't want to turn this Into a negative thread. I've been speaking with Aaron throughout the process and he's always quick to respond and all my other orders from SSA have been great. The 21 business days is the average and is improving, but you have to understand it is not a one for one timeline. There are occasions where they can get behind, just like there are occasions where they are ahead. There are plenty of people who get their orders much faster then 21 business days when the guys at the factory are able to keep up, and those customers see the under promise and over deliver.
  17. You can't say this...other companies can get a recone to you within a month. And no they are not Chinese, and who is to say a recone received in 2 weeks sitting on a shelve is different than one handmade to order. 2 months to receive a product is bad customer service. I am sorry for the timeline, but it is not bad customer service, it is just a backed up factory working as fast as they can.
  18. Glad to see you posting this. To go along with the topic, I just had a customer pushing to get me to beat pricing on an item that was below our cost (including shipping) because his "competitor buddy" can get them cheap.
  19. I will turn their section back on, IF they will keep up with it and people want it. So if people want it back on, someone shoot them a message.
