  1. I am sure there are a few other reason's I don't know, but the margin is the obvious limiting factor.
  2. Same engine, similar suspension and brakes as my old Merkur XR4ti. The SVO had a the same suspension as the normal Mustangs aside from different spring and damper rates, and busing durometer. The Merkur had Macpherson Strut up front and IRS in the rear. I could have sworn the SVO had the IRS.
  3. It is not using it for excessive build times, it is the margin that remains the limiting factor. If Scott could afford to hire more people, I promise you he would, as his stress level's surpass mine and that is scary. Many of Fi's customers choose them for the made/designed/machined etc. in the USA, along with having some customization.
  4. Interesting, it is as if they are trying to work in every design queue from their other cars.
  5. Same engine, similar suspension and brakes as my old Merkur XR4ti.
  6. The whole thing is staged and Gordon is not the driver. Clearly, anyone could tell when the car turned to the right at all.
  7. Knowing the manufacturer you speak of, when Fi's profit margin is remotely close and all models were not built in house, then Fi could consider taking that approach.
  8. Not currently. If the demand picks up, we may offer a 8" and dual 15" enclosure.
  9. Thanks Aaron. I got rid of the RF 360.3, I decided to go with the Alpine INE-Z928HD that has the steering wheel control harness for my car. It doesn't have nearly as much control as the 360.3 does, but it will work for me. Thanks. The new Passats have rediculously thin sheet metal! When it rains it sounds like a hale storm in my car. I've heard of people just leaning on the car and denting it. That is part of how they save money to afford to sell it for a good price. As for the processor, it would be great if you post up a full review on it and the Xcon when everything is all in.
  10. Nice work, nice sub, nice processor. Glad you are using some deadening/dampening, as new VW's need it bad.
  11. Fucking tents!
  12. The Gcon is excellent sealed, does not need gobs of power.
  13. Welcome to SSA.
  14. Mustang 2s are the biggest piles of shit. No way I would own one. On that note, I sold my Grand National yesterday. What? All these years I've known you, I assumed you were going to take it 6' under with you. Up until a year ago I would have agreed. But I just got bored. I just finished putting it back together 3 weeks ago, and had 4 offers on it. I had better offers then the one I took, but the guy who bought it is a friend, so I know it will be in a good home. Of course, he did call me yesterday and told me "this thing runs like a scalded dog, is there some way to make it more manageable?" I told him I made it go fast, it is up to him to make it go slow. He may wreck it before too long. Post a farewell pic?

  16. That sucks Aaron. Time for a drink? J I was in too much of a groove last night fighting with my email client, that a strong drink would have only turned me south fast. But, should have grabbed a glass of red anyway.
  17. Happy birthday Jordan. Side note, Jordan is one of the VERY few people still around from the early days of SSA. He was a member before this software was installed in July of 2003, and he was one of the first people to grab an SSA sub IIRC. Thanks for being apart of the site for so long Jordan.
  18. Welcome to SSA, I am in Baltimore, so not far.
