I won't spend a lot on a firearm so I'm into military surplus. I bought a Russian Makarov pistol for $170, and a 1932 Nagant revolver for $100, but the ammo's pretty pricey on that one- about $40 a box. True, as to the purchase, a gun is a large one to me. It's something that I would need to seriously educate myself, study up on offerings, set aside cash, etc. etc. So it is relatively large to me.
