Could really depend on the power. The Icon has always love the low tuned enclosures. The Xcon thrives in low tuned ported or large sealed, and the new Gcon is similar.

Sound quality will not be lost. The response will be slightly different. The larger enclosures spec out to be a little more efficient and a little flatter response.

The power handling is fine at the rms ratting in either enclosure, but if you are planning on pushing much more then ratted, go with the smaller enclosure size. We provide a range of where our sub woofers preform very well, giving people a nice range of options, especially if space or power or goals are limiting factors.

The CLD tiles absorb and reduce vibration in the body panels. The MLV creates a barrier to reduce the sound coming in from the outside and music getting out of the car. The CCF is a layer in between the two that "decouples" the materials. The system REALLY works very well. I suggest checking my build log here for some great pictures showing how it works.

Mark and I have been talking on and off for a little while about a sizable forum shake up/shift. Meaning, there are too many copies to our arrangement. As to how or what, we have not nailed it down yet as there is only so much the software will allow.

There is a reason why woofersetc. have three brands they have never carried before suddenly on the main page banner. There has been nothing but a stream of copy cat's carrying mostly the same brands we have been carrying for a good while. Apparently now everyone is an XS Power/IA/Sundown/SKAR/Mechman dealer, even Ed Lester. If you can't beat em... They must have the impression we are much bigger and busier then we are.
