The 10-15" baskets have been from the same supplier since day one. Yes, the coating has changed a little from time to time, but everything else is the same. Mark nor I have had this issue.

The "low's" are very dependent on the enclosure, regardless of sub woofer. With that said, there is nothing lacking with the lowest octave from the Zcon's.

I tested them to make sure everything was hooked up right, but have not listened to them yet. Tomorrow I will get some listening time. I do not like to play it at the house because it shakes the houses areound me.

Their ridiculous mark-up makes them niche and I doubt SSA would be able to move enough to make it worthwhile or even get enough capital to sustain inventory. Exactly.
Well one way to look at it is the sheer weight and pressure the Zcon can build, you are going to want a very stout and reinforced enclosure for the Zcon.
Not a Zcon motor. Sp4 = 4" coil, Zcon = 3" coil. The motor is going to be quite different.
Love the new model in total black. It's like the grim reapers Sunday sled, except Bruce Wayne owns one now.
