I love that ppl act MC Hammer rich when they get a tax return check. yes The Epicenter add's distortion to the signal. It was created for recordings, mostly on cassette tape, that lost much of the low end during playback. Now that it is no longer an issue with digital and CD's, the epicenter only overblows the low end frequencies and can throw the overall sound out of balance.
