  1. Too far for me, but if people get together that is great. Bigjon has held some Texas meets.
  2. Ok, I will work on keeping the group going too.
  3. I am not trying to be combative, but I think until we have mega traffic in there, more descriptive topic titles will do the trick.
  4. From the few products of theirs I have seen in person, they have been of good quality. Massive is in that middle ground it seems, not so much a big box store brand, and not an internet based one either.
  5. All this talk about shit and movements ....
  6. Started working 3 12s So have 4 days off now! I will be on more often and posting pics again. Pics are comming soon of this! :eek5wavey:
  7. All things being equal, they should sound the same. Clarity & accuracy should be very very close. Efficiency is what changes. I love the Icon in a large sealed enclosure and it does not need gobs of power. Yes it did lose a tiny tiny bit of efficiency when we went from the first gen (ratted at 900) to the assumptive second gen (ratted at 1000), but it plays wonderfully with well less then the ratted power. The majority of people port the Icon for greater output with out loss of sound quality. The Icon uses an over hung coil, with it's design it does not have a rail flat of a BL response curve that some of the purists demand is the best, but the Icon has a much livelier sound with a very full warm bottom end (especially with the copper coil), so it is a little more naturally pleasing to most people's ears. Side note, the poll is missing.
  8. Kicker is a good brand that makes a solid product, but they are geared for the masses that usually go into big box stores. SSA is a much different brand, much smaller of course, but geared towards the DIY'er that cares about high performance per dollar AND built here in the USA. I have run Kicker in the past, loved the original KX1200.1's when they first came out. Ran a solobaric 15 for a few years, wish I still had it.
  9. Group or page? I don't keep the group as up to date as the page.
  10. How about clear and effective topic titles?
  11. Unless you need to gain back the cargo space, leave it in the larger enclosure.
  12. I love to think back about my amps going to the wrong continent.
  13. Ernie is a good guy, shame he has to work so much or he would be on more often. Looking forward to pix.
  14. I just lost 30-40 lbs doing that for 2 days.
  15. Still a GM, still automatic.
  16. GL !!
  17. Not sure why it would be removed, but we will know for sure when they hit the market.
  18. A turbo black one, tinted and lowered would be ok.
  19. To add to that, no I don't have pictures.
