Don is understating it to be nice. The blind test would tell you right away just by touch. Some of the samples just did not seem liked they belonged in the conversation. I usually tend to suggest to some people with your similar preferences to go optimal sealed and then if after some time in that enclosure they feel they want more output, jump to the smaller ported. The QX amps were solid mid-level amps, no major frills. Just good OS PG.
