  1. Triple check the wiring.
  2. That is pushing it. There is no advantage to over power a driver for daily, but as long as you are smart with the gains and pay attention to the sub woofer to make sure it is doing ok, then go for it. Keep in mind, if you cook the coil, it is not covered under warranty. Also, NEVER worry about or focus on MAX wattage, it is a marketing lie started by the big companies a while ago.
  3. If I am thinking of the same video, those are not Xcon's. Those were prototypes of a different model we did not put into production.
  4. Thanks for the feedback guys, keep it coming. I saw these Pulse plugs, but they seemed to have gotten mixed reviews. Surprised to see no Champion plug people. For the most part, I have used Bosch in the past.
  5. Electric supercharger? http://www.engineperformancechip.com/mazda-performance-chip-mazda-protege-5-2002-2003-c-24_482/electric-super-charger-2-5-psi-p-16 2.5 psi!!
  6. Daily driver, 4 cylinder, would be nice if MPG and HP picked up a tiny bit.
  7. I am considering ordering some new plugs for the Mazda, and I have not used Iridium plugs before. I have used platinum in the past on a few vehicles and liked the mild results. I know some mechanics are dead set on not using plugs that are not OEM, where as there are tuner guys that swear by them. So I wanted to see if there was any feedback I could draw upon and see if it is worth ordering up 4 of them.
  8. Very nice, I really like the minimalist appearance of that bike.
  9. The last shot is great, as it shows that it is real carbon fiber.
  10. My old RF Fanatic Q's crossovers looked like a mini RF punch amp, and my Orion p6.2's have a amplike looking crossover too.
  11. Have had some massive crossovers in the past, nothing tops my old QSD 3-way crossovers. Almost the side of a head unit.
  12. Grrr, holding pattern at work waiting for meeting after lunch.
  13. Put it this way, we are not sparing much expense on this install. This is a major power upgrade, so with the alt on the way, hopefully current draw wont be too much of an issue.
  14. This is why SSAudio is the best forum for audio period. We can have spirited conversations and stay adults and come to a peaceful resolution or understanding without anyone getting their feelings hurt.
  15. Very nice, will be some serious current draw.
  16. Thank you for mentioning that, we will need to get the alts up on the SSA store shortly. Now, just need that blue model for a Mazda.
  17. Only cone pix of the drivers. These are not being made anytime soon. We have two other things in the pipeline (at least we plan) first.
  18. Sorry to say but no. Number of reasons: UPS calculates shipping The sub woofers are not getting lighter We are reducing our already slim margin by shipping them to us. Side note, in the lower 48 states, shipping for the SSA sub woofers should never come close to the price of the drivers.
