  1. Interesting build. Take care of the PG amp!
  2. Ha I saw you lookin'.I was wondering when you were going to pop up and say something.
  3. I am not too worried about looks, as it is a sweet amp and would be perfect for a pair of Dcon's. For drivers, I have no concern; amplifiers on the other hand, should be a focal point of the install and must be appealing. Unfortunately, the new amps are not appealing (aesthetically), to me. Technically, these are now the old amps as the VLX line will be replacing the Merlins and the AX.

  5. Yes, that is the one.
  6. Nice SoundStream.
  7. SSD's are excellent sub woofers.
  8. It is the new one, I believe near black/dark gun metal grey.
  9. When I was training at full tilt, I would do 45 minutes, weights for 45, then more cardio. So it is not too bad, just turn on m1live.com on the iphone and zone out to CNN and just bust my ass until the timer reads 0:00 time left. That and knowing that I have got to get back to full running shape as soon as my body will allow. It is killing me not playing soccer or lifting much. So the more I am able to make it into the gym and get my knees ready, the better. The pain and swelling afterwards is still very present, but I have accepted that I have pushed my body past it's limits and I have to live with that. Today was pretty simple: 713 Calories / 60 minutes pre-core
  10. Group Buy on Merlin MD-21 and AX-600DE and possibly the AXTU600C. US Amps have decided to end the Merlin line a little while back. There are few new left in existence. We, the SSA Store, can do a short group buy on the Merlin MD-21 & AX-600DE & AX TU-600C. The MD-21's are excellent smaller 2 channel amps, the AX600DE is a high end small footprint mono block and the AX TU600C are tube 4 channel amps, once they are gone. Now this topic is to gauge if people are actually going to do it, DO NOT POST IF YOU ARE WINDOW SHOPPING! 11. Please take a few moments to read the new member topics. Unlike most sites, we actually like to take an intelligent approach to working on a stereo.
  12.  That was on M1live.com earlier.

  19. Julian, I did not know you crunched BOINC. What team are you on? I currently have two Ubuntu boxes crunching just fine with out a dual boot. I was more so referring to software like 3DSmax and such. On another site I was offered these suggestions: Newegg.com - MSI GX740-079US NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 17.0" Wide SXGA+ 4GB Memory 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 Newegg.com - Acer Aspire AS8943G-6782 NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 18.4" 8GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 5400rpm BD Combo ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5850
  20. We only have a single functioning 8" prototype currently. It was extensively tested and we are not moving forward with that design.
