  1. So not in the mood to jump into traffic for the next 90+ minutes.
  2. :) :) Making the soda dance.
  3. Sorry about that, but we don't have any links to that site here what so ever. I didnt know about that until after, all I was doing was making a point is all
  4. Love the dog pix too.
  5. x2 Or make a Tline for it, would be even better if you're only pushing 300W RMS thru it. I believe he is new to making enclosures and wants to start out on the simple side at first.
  6. The first time I got into the boost in my GT it scared the shit out of me. I'd never driven a boosted car before, aside from my 2.3Ts, and I was looking for instant acceleration and it didn't happen. Once I got the revs up though and the boost came on, it got pretty hairy so I let off. You quickly become accustomed to speed though and find yourself looking for more. I heard that the turbo'ed 2.3's are nifty. Any power figures for them ? Mine were all stock, but I've seen them anywhere from that to upwards of 800+. A long time ago, Roush actually had one they raced that they partnered with Ford on and made a 4V head. I love that little engine. I had always wanted to try some wild stuff with my old Merkur's.
  7. The Q is an excellent choice.
  8. Now if I can get phoenix gold to get off there butts and release their new TI series amps I will be set
  9. Maybe in the 4.5 - 5 cube range.
  10. Wonderful pwnage of Olberman: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-january-21-2010/special-comment---keith-olbermann-s-name-calling
  11. There is a lot of things that never leave their market. Where are you at in Japan? Yokohama today, but leaving for Wakayama. Yesterday went all over Tokyo. Ship me out a couple of sets of tires on the cheap for the sled.
  12. Wow, spam much? eDuh will never see a penny of mine, along with anyone else.
  13. Sorry about that, but we don't have any links to that site here what so ever.
  14. There should be no discernible difference.
  15. Thanks for the suggestions I went ahead and ordered the XCON's , no sense in having to work my way up ,better to start at the top.Thought I would add ,this is a great forum and I can appreciate the wisdom of the other members here. Thanks for the kind words and for your business! You can say that again.
  16. They are right at home in the 29-33hz range.
  17. Actually I used that amp (along with a bunch of others) for all our prototypes.
  18. It may look cool or be nice to have a crazy piece in the model line up, but in the end it is not always worth it or financially a good move. As so many of these monster power amps get poped all the time and at the same time the competitor (because we know in reality no one needs an amp that size for daily), can strap multiple smaller, more durable, and less expensive to repair models. Plus for a competitor, (the one with the single monster amp) if one amp fries during competiton he is done until a replacement or repair, where as the other competitor with multiple smaller amplifiers has an amp pop, he just just rewire or swap in a replacement much cheaper. Yes, there is the crowd that does not care, they just want to have the biggest what ever, just to say they have the biggest. Also, in reality, for a daily driver making the most out of less power on less current demand is far more impressive then having loads of watts and huge alts and not putting it too it's fullest. That is why I loved the look on peoples faces when, during prototype testing, I told them all I had in the back was a single 12" sub woofer, sealed on an earth shattering 240 watts. It did not compute that I had well over 100 watts more on the front stage.
  19. F-I-L got a few six'ers of some classy Lowenbrau. I have not had it in years, forgot I actually enjoyed it. It was one of my fathers regular's.
  20. Depends on your space you have available for the enclosure, and your goals. Based off of our suggestions, if you go with a trio of 10's for example, right aroud 3 to 3.5 cubes tuned in the 32hz range would be a great start if you went ported. If 12's, then 6 cubes would be great ported.
  21. PG has a monster amp model announced at CES. All this talk makes me think of the days of the Harrison Labs Drag Queen.
