  1. Great shot.
  2. Nice new amp.
  3. That thread seemed to go misguided and went more towards suggestions.... this thread is geared more towards numbers...this thread isn't hurting anyone. No.. That thread is also geared towards numbers. This thread is deemed a duplicate. I agree. Plus the Xcon is not a pure SPL driver, far from it. If someone is so worried about competition SPL, they need to look at a BTL. The Xcon gets brutally loud, but it was not designed to be a competition SPL sub woofer.
  4. Being married with a kid, my personal machine has to be reserved. SSA company boxes are all Ubuntu linux, so they just have a standard background.
  5. Well played, Aaron. Well played. ;) Was wondering if that was going to slip under the rug or not.
  6. I posted up the film they were talking about, just don't remember which website I posted it on.
  7. I hope you have quality speakers, just listen to this engine: The Fast and the Famous: In Search of Hollywood's Hidden Street Circuit - Super Cars - Jay Leno's Garage This car has just supplanted a few epic cars as possibly my all-time favorite. And my 25,000th post.
  8. Looks great, and still plenty of space for your leg.
  9. Looking good so far.
  10. I was worried there for a moment too.
  11. Loving the OS KISS set up.
  12. There is more then meets the eye here at SSA.
  13. If you click the Store tab at the top, you can get the SAZ-2000D on sale.
  14. I like it, especially with the Euro bumpers and lower front lip. My best friends first car was an 82, so I got fairly familiar with that car and all the little bits, so it is not too hard to work on nor are the parts that expensive. I would suggest some extensive sound deadening.
  15. The build house is quite slammed due to catching up with orders during the new year (you ordered over the new year weekend), and there is CES that just wrapped up. Your driver will be shipped out as soon as it is done. No need to worry.
  16. Right now, just the verizon GPS on our phones.
  17. Email mark @ soundsolutionsaudio.com with your mailing address, stating you are the photo contest winner. He will ship out a tan SSA hat to you. Then Rob will proceed to mail the hat to me LIES! I will do that when i get home today. btw do yall have any of those blue n white ssa stickers for sale anymore? Yes, for some reason, we forgot to put them back up on the store. When you email Mark about your hat, ask for a Blue and White sticker.
  18. The Icon 10" is one of my favorite woofers.... gawwd dayummmm do they drop..... Lol there in you PTS you sent me!! WOOT. Thanks MARK Hatchie is up and running just waiting on insurance..
  19. Yes for the most part. The idea is to make sure you have the crossover network to do it first. If that is good, then you can start picking tweeters that fit your preference and budget, then choose the mid's based off of your tweeters and preference and budget. From there it is just install and trial and error to find the best crossover points and mounting locations for your liking.
  20. If your head unit is flexible enough, it would be best to use it's crossover's. If not, you can use the crossover's on the amplifier. The benefit is to be able to dial in your system far better then what a passive set of components with a fixed crossover point could. Either way, the adjust ability and control is superior in a properly set up active front stage. I don't remember if there is a write up for going active on here. Might search and see if you find one. If not, we can talk you through it. By going active, you can save money on choosing raw drivers, and using the built in crossover's, because you are not paying for an external passive crossover.
