It happened so fast, the ref's could not react. What was saddening was when I had to listen on the radio for part of the game, was that the play-by-play guy's exclaimed ...to the 10, to the 5, and there is no flags before he said touchdown Ray Rice or TD McGahee. And the post game stuff was all about how bad the Pat's played. Ehh, who cares, as that Baltimore fans are used to that. So after Tuesday, it will be all about Manning and how awesome they are, and how bad they will win. The difference between Manning and Brady, is that Manning does not need the ref's to win. The thing about this game is that most any Baltimore fan over the age of 28, absolutely hates the Colts. On a different way as the disgust towards the Steelers or Yankees, as the Colts were part of the Baltimore landscape for a long time, and they won Superbowl's here. Not to mention the shady way they were sneaked out of town in the middle of the night, in the snowy November of 1983. So many of the football fans feel they were robbed of their team. During the long lay off between 1983 and 1996, many football fans drifted to other teams, some to the Redskins or Eagles. Anytime a Cleveland fan bitches at me or another Baltimore fan about how our city took the Brown's, I feel the urgent need to club them across the face with a truck bumper. They got a team back a year later, and got to keep their name and all their records. Anyway, there is serious resentment by the older Baltimore football fans towards Indy.
