  1. Wifey's best friend, who runs a puppy rescue on the side was coming south from Delaware today on her way home to western MD. She stopped by with two pitt pups, 10 weeks old. That ball o'fluff is Maxie, our Chow / Keshound mix.
  2. Yikes that is a great price.
  3. Yeah, this is the official Sundown forum.
  4. I would rather go that route for amp life.
  5. I forget if that amp is stable at 2 ohm mono, but very possible.
  6. Holy crap yes. After that, in my personal memory top ten worst calls or no calls, Merrirman a step off sides followed by his hit that caused an interception, but they give SD the INT. It was starting to get a little strange that their scrub O-line was holding almost as much as the Squealer O-line holds. Very happy to see the Browns and Squealers lose today.
  7. It wasnt gonna be long before one did, no matter how well you guys built the sub (everything in life messes up even though it was not designed to look at the Titanic as an example). Sorry to hear this, hope all goes well with the sub. They have been out for a while. Either way, I am very curious to find out what happened.
  8. You would push us over 10 units, so that means 10%.
  9. The Fi Q is a very nice driver that can sound great and have strong output when called upon, but I wonder if the BL is more your speed as it can get quite loud and still sound good.
  10. Just replied to your email. We have not had an Xcon fail in a daily driver install before, so I am interested to find out. Mikey, you got email, yes on a Sunday.
  11. Turn down the sub amp gain, get a smaller amplifier, and be smart with the volume knob.
  12. Very cool picture.
  13. Sorry, was out all day yesterday. Just getting caught up now.
  14. The 125.2 is ratted at 400 x 1 @ 4 ohm, but has been easily doing 500 watts+. Heck, the prior version 100.2 with a slightly smaller output potential, was doing 450 watts @ 8ohm mono, so think about what the stronger version will do at 4 ohms. It will not be a SPL competition winning set up, but for the money, it can do quite well. The IXL with a 1000 watt amp, in theory should be louder all things considered, but if budget is a major factor, and an 18" driver is a must, it is hard to beat the MJ-18M.
  15. Welcome to SSA. Love the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
  16. Like said above, can you provide more information so we can help you make the right selection. If you need help, check out the new member topics in my signature.
  17. How much time is left on this? A little over a week, unless there is enough demand to extend it.
  18. Alright lol thanks you guys helped me a lot.. I got super lost Of the amplifiers mentioned, the Sundown SAZ-3500D or Rockford are your best choices and best value.
  19. Honestly, the MJ-18M is a very good driver, and he could save more money with a smaller amplifier. Something around 400 - 700 watts at 4 ohm mono, for the amplifier. The MJ-18M can thrive in a smaller then average box and will sound very clean. We could put a new combo up on the SSA shop with a Sundown SAX-125.2 and a Mach5 MJ-18M, or maybe an SAZ-1000D and IXL 18.2.2.
  20. Welcome to SSA. Glad you found us. If you have a moment check out the new member topics linked in my sig. Then feel free to start a topic so we can all work on you reaching your goal.
