  1. Would love to know how much weight was added to the car in deadening.
  2. maybe some 1" x 1" ribbing, or a 2x4 from wall to wall?
  3. I tried to look at the manual above and it said I don't have permission to view the attachment. Why is that? I just updated permissions, try it now. Works for me now. Thanks. No problem.
  4. The last page is full of surprises.
  5. These are the opinions you will get, unless you give much more info in your question.

  7. Loads of interest via PM and email. I get the feeling that the moment the first pictures are released people are going to go for it. All we need is 10 total units claimed in the group buy, and everyone gets 10% off.
  8. So will #2 come with the basket + soft parts or is it now just a motor? It is still fully intact, I have not torn it down. So you can have the entire driver.
  9. Monkeybutt's driver ships out today. Bad news is that I did one more inspection of Unit #2 and there was a crack in the basket from the return shipping to us. So monkeybutt has #1 coming to him instead. I will update the topic now. If anyone wants Unit #2 for the motor, I am re-listing it as such.
  10. Bassrace has brackets based on a measured db output. The object is to come as close at you can to the upper limit while playing music, with in the 30 time limit with out going over your specified class. For example there is a 139.9 class, so if you can hover at 139.4 and the guy next to you does a 140.1 then you win. DBdrag is an all out (one note) peak frequency burp, and it too is broken up into classes based upon equipment.
  11. Welcome to SSA. I would suggest reposting your question in the General Audio section. You have 3 very different sub woofers listed, so we need to figure out which is the best route to take based upon your goals.
  12. Those are the box suggestions provided by Mach5. I vote you try to port it if you can, because people seemed to really love it ported.
  13. Maybe once. *ducks for cover*
  14. Time for a glass of red and then bed.
  15. Well hello Bing. Did you decided to come here or did you search us?
  16. Hi Denim, you know I tried that addy several times and I keep getting the message to "enter a valid email." I logged on and off my computer and still no dice. I'll try again. Silly question, but would there be any capital letters in that addy? Yes I guessed right as PP took [email protected] Payment made for Item #2. Looking forward to using this sub. Thanks, John That is strange about the capitals, it has not been like that before. But great, will get this labeled and shipped out tomorrow.
  17. I have not really messed with it, but it is quite effective for straight forward designs like this.
  18. Hey John, It is: [email protected] sorry about the period earlier.
  19. How about we find out which one is best for you? Do you have certain needs, goals, budget, space etc.?
  20. You are all over the map in terms of sub woofers. Let's start from the beginning. Can you give us as much info as you can on your goals and needs from this project?
  21. Don stopped by my house for a few hours today. Got to check out his SDS samples. Excellent system.
  22. Here is an example, thanks to fallen on ROE, of a 1.0 cube box at 30hz. Net volume: 1cuft Tuning: 30Hz Port Area:15.62 sq in(12.5"Hx1.25"W) Dimensions:14H"X12D"x24W"
