  1. There will be a little more output, but if the trouble of the box for the 15" model is too much, the output on the 12" in a smaller car will still be very impressive if needed.
  2. Almost considering a pair of the 6-channels.
  3. I have never used that program before, but the numbers look good, and I prefer sub back port back.
  4. I would lean towards the ID's, but I have not heard the JL W0 8's, though the W3's are a solid driver. Not sure off the top of my head, but maybe check the Sound Splinter Orphan 8 too.
  5. Yikes, I would be nervous with so much apart on the dash.
  6. Competition is good.
  7. Understatement, I stopped reading any and all threads related to subs. Outside of the hop this has me reading about 2 threads a day. Whenever I venture out of that domain I want to leave. Some days I think perhaps the level on crapshitfestaudio might now be surpassing here Thoughts on actively removing posts that are flat out incorrect? IMO Aaron it's the wrong way too go. However altering the post and putting the correct information in the same post box with a note and a warning to the offender may be advisable. If you just erase it, no matter how just it will just look like someone having a pissy fit. You could close the thread if it's short. But I think warning the offender is more the way to go. Well said. You can just imagine the panties in a twist should idiotic posts be deleted though, because the offenders would still think they are right....... In the end who will determine what is correct and what is wrong info ? That why I said in an earlier post that it is too much to ask of the super mod team to know all and see all, just not going to happen unless we add on a stack of new mods, and at this point that is not needed nor do I feel comfortable doing so.
  8. Well they are brand new in the box never used. They have a few sets of the 1514's i think and one of the 2514. I just don't know if they sound good at all or what I should be paying for them. And are the little red and silver amps any good? I don't need them but if anyone else is interested in them I can look into them a little further. Those are brand new too. Those RF amps could be worth some good money on ebay if you can grab them cheap.
  9. I had the original fanatic Q's and they did very well for a number of years. I never got to play with the fanatic X's but if you get them cheap but in great shape go for it if they fit.

  11. This might seem like a silly question, but any chance it was dropped or set down hard before installation? I can't see how a magnet would crack inside an enclosure under normal usage, unless there was some drastic change in temperature due to the leak. If the driver has been playing fine and continues to do so, you should be fine.
  12. thanks man that's probably what I'm gonna do is go for the two 15"s. the difference in money is not an issue, even with extras like bp power or cooling. speaking of extras, anyone have any opinions on the extras of both the Q and the BL? another question is does the BL handle more power than the Q? any help would be greatly appreciated everyone. thanks in advance. If this is for daily, and you are worried about power handling and output, go with the BL's.
  13. I still have mine, love the unit.

Some days I think perhaps the level on crapshitfestaudio might now be surpassing here Thoughts on actively removing posts that are flat out incorrect? Is that really what you & Mark want? That is a good question. I was thinking of making an "incorrect post" section to drop those posts. As I cannot keep up with every post, and as we grow I cannot expect Mark or i and the super mod team to read every post and know in depth all the details of the topic or question at hand. But if we could find an amicable way to keep the wrong info off or diverted and help make sure the forum as a whole, functions as it is supposed to, in that is working together to correctly find the solution or solutions to problems or questions that members have. SSA has a reputation as a forum where people come to for more advanced help or a source of better knowledge, and keeping it that way is important to me.
  15. You think Travaris will throw less? Even if he does, at least he has some athleticism to go after the guy. Who knows, maybe they'll court Vick next. I am kinda rooting for him, I think he has potential to put up big numbers. He is basically a T Jax that doesn't really suck Looking back, I think my post came out wrong. I did not mean to say I am rooting for Vick, I am a dog owner and have always been so I am not sure I can forgive him totally to actually root for him. As for Jackson, I think if he slowed down his thought process a little or did something to focus a little better I think he could crank up big numbers.
  16. Seriously!
  17. I was out of town and it takes for ever to load the hop on the phone.
  18. It is okay. Sorry if I came across harsh but I know we are not one of those companies that ignore emails and don't care. Mark and I work hard to answer emails and phone calls asap regardless of the hour or day. So if we don't get back to you or anyone in the normally short time, life probably got in the way and we are going to do our best to take care of everyone asap.
  19. For future reference, please use the [email protected] email address, every email that the support email has received has been answered, I am looking at the in box right now. And please don't call us shady, that was a little uncalled for, we have never been and never will be. I really hope you don't think we would be shady to anyone with this massive web site, a successful store, and a spotless reputation. On top of the death in the family, Mark had to move this week on no notice, so he has been with out internet. So please in the future, use the support@ email, because we both get it.
  20. :) :)
  21. You might want to email Sundown directly to know for sure what is suggested. An amp like that when pushed will draw insane amounts of current, so multiple batteries at least on top of the upgraded alternator.
  22. There are a number of people happy with them along with Crystals if you can find them on ebay.
  23. I find it very hard to believe, and to me the stock market is artificially inflated. Makes you wonder about the whole stimulus mess, barely any of the money (5% or so) has made it out to the people and yet the economy is fixed? I don't believe it.
