The 500's are a nice engine, not really a mega power piece, but smooth and fairly durable overall that I have seen. I think, from that period, those V8's were some of the longest lasting they have made. -

As the resident older Merc junkie, I can weight in a little on that one Ryan linked as it is in over all decent shape. But from experience, east coast that is, the two doors, especially non-convertable ones that were dark colors and large chrome wheels were usually owned by people who couldn't really afford to take care of the car properly and were more worried about looking cool. So it would be worth looking at, but the love and care parts might be a sore spot based on ones I've looked at over the years between NY and VA.

Yes, worst kept secret. I have tweets about to go into production. But I am waiting until just after the new year to get them into production. They will not be ready until well into March. If you are looking to mate a nice set of tweets right now, I like the Morel MDT 12's, Morel MDT39, SEAS Prestiege Neo Textile, Scan Speak D3004. I am aiming our tweets at the Scan Speak D3004's. Edit, great choice on amp, hope you ordered from SSA.
