Glad the Dcon stayed in the family. As for the options, I have not heard the level 2's, but I have read a number of positive feedback emails from people who have bought the 187's. If you are not going to get the Dcon 10's, I think the 187's are an excellent alternative (keeping in mind I have no experience with the DC's ).

LL, (I think that is what I will call you) , I think enough people have made the point that it is more important to have the correct sized and built enclosure then to have the largest cone size possible. Why not grab a tape measure and figure out how much space you have, or are willing to use towards the sub woofer, and that will give good information as to what is the best direction to take.

Based on what retailers are predicting, the amount of Michael Jackson merchandise will likely hit at least Elvis levels, if not higher...based on the fact that Amazon (and all of their affiliates) are completely sold out of every Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 CD less than 24 hours after his death, I think it might just happen.... My parents' generation's "Death of the Century" was Elvis, my generation's "Death of the Century" seems to be Michael Jackson...*sigh* So what does that mean if you were around for both?

2 12" D1 will get you too a 1 ohm final load. ok thanks. i put in my order through paypal yesterday afternoon. i cant wait to see these babies up close. and feel the weight of 'em! when should i expect them to deliver? We tell everyone to allow for around five days build time and a few days ship time.

Forum database back up took us down for a whole 3 minutes. Another advantage of the upgrade, the older version took more then 3x as long for some reason.

We cannot adjust the sizing of the forum. The other bugs have everything to do with the dark skin being brand new and having some bugs in it. Mark only installed it to keep people happy for the time being until we have a new custom skin made and installed. Hmm, it must just be my monitor settings at work, as my home monitor does not have the problem with the sizing. It all fits on one screen. Length did change, as the sections are taller. But width should not be all that much different, yes there is the right side tabs and info, but sections were thinned. It is really is a major bother for a number of people I will see if there is anything on the Invision site.

As I said before a few times, this software is BRAND NEW, and as soon as a quality new skin is available we will install it. It is far more important to upgrade asap then wait until a new skin was ready. As for taking you to the last post, make sure you are clicking on the topic name, not the "go to latest post" button to the left of the topic title.

I will repeat in here just in case so there are not repetitive negative posts. This is a brand new version of the software, mods/tweaks/skins are just starting to come out and as soon as more are available they will be installed. Trust us, this is a huge upgrade for the site and catapults SSA way up. We are one of the first and it is more user/visual/feature friendly then VB and a monster improvement over the older version of Invision we were running.
