  1. I would love an i7 based machine. 8 cores would be awesome. Then I could do some real damage in BOINC and F@H.
  2. Looks good. Glad to see someone do a multi-driver install that is not the super high rms models for once in a while (and sealed for that matter).
  3. TC-9 motor. I voted my favorite, but it is a win win.
  4. Nice choice.
  5. We should charge for those. Thanks for banging those out.
  6. Welcome, again.
  7. No Idea why I go back to yahoo answers. Anyway, more Onion fun: http://www.theonion.com/content/video/poli..._through_40_000
  8. That is for sure. We are still thinking this over as it would mean tedious testing of each driver before re-sold. I would also add, must be shipped in original shipping box. Also, the length of time used will have a factor, regardless of condition. Meaning if two drivers come in, first one being 2 weeks old and in great shape, and the second one being one year old and in great shape, the first driver will be of greater value. But we might limit this to drivers bought with in the last 6 months or so. Anyway, just feeling it out, seeing if it would be worth the effort, and if people would actually want it in the first place.
  9. Thanks for the positive feed back. A few other people have gone from T1's to an Icon and have been very happy with the switch. I would assume, some of the performance difference has to do with the lower suggested tuning for SSA drivers then RF drivers.
  10. Shows that they can have plenty of output with less then rms power. Maybe this will help reduce some of the emails asking if they can put 3000 watts on an Xcon.
  11. Did I miss anything that had to do with mid's and highs?
  12. Set the gains correctly >> get the SSD 12" with copper coil >> build a proper ported box >> happy time. Side note: Keety, you have to understand that the mass majority of SSA members are hear to learn about the finer points about the hobby/sport, and dislike the bad name car audio has been given due to irresponsible people who project their music or sound into other peoples spaces. This is the reason ///M5 was reacting to your red light comment. We try to take audio very seriously as we want to figure out the best option or solution, KU40 did a great job of explaining this earlier. I am not trying to harp on you at all, just trying to show you that SSA is a forum unlike the others.
  13. Welcome to SSA, and like said above, post the amp question in the audio sections for more help.
  14. I have not touched their amps in a while, but I think I saw a post somewhere on here recently by someone who knows their amps well.
  15. I usually favor Eclipse or Pioneer Premier, maybe in this case the PRS 800.
  16. If it functions like an Epicenter then nay, if it functions like a Bass Cube then yay.
  17. For low price, high power, John is right. The Crunch 3000D is up there, a number of competitors were using it along with the older Clarion's strapped.
  18. Did you call PowerMaster to see if they have a unit for your car?
  19. yeah I was thinking like t3rmpro or places like that Fixed for you.
