It seems as of late, people just want bigger and bigger drivers and smaller sub woofers, such as an 8" or 10" get over looked. I would be willing to bet, for 75% of those people the smaller single driver is more then enough for their needs, but the market has created this perception that bigger is always better.

This is the first time I have heard of the site.
Looking good. This is about as small as one should go with a pair of Xcon 18's.
I am also watching this one.

Both drivers have potential to get bruttally loud for sure. But both drivers have very different designs with some what different end goals in mind. Not sure why you want to run the Sundown below 1ohm instead of matching the coil selection of the drivers to run it at 1ohm. Unless you are going to compete, it is not a good idea to run the amp below suggested loads for daily.
If you can find one, it would be sweet.
