I agree with John, I would suggest getting the BTL reconed, even if it takes a little longer. I don't think it is a good idea to down grade woofers if you don't need to. Plus a recone would be much cheaper.

Good choice. Damplifier Pro made a big difference in my install.

Chrome and Iron were made by the same people, they look identical. Iron does not have the google trackers and constant google update running in your task manager.

How will it work if you present an offer for the value of an amplifier, based off of their description of the condition, and maybe a picture, then they ship it to you and it is DOA? Then someone has paid to ship and amp in hopes to get a Sundown, only to have to ship it back. Too many dishonest and shady characters online that will try to beat the system.

Jacob, I think it is a great idea, if you stick to Sundown products. If you venture out to allowing other brands, it lends to be a great deal of work for you. And the trade in value based on condition that you or someone else at Sundown determines, is too gray an idea and I think that could cause problems. As in someone could have bought some cheap crap amp, and over paid for it at some rip-off shop. Then they think based on the price they paid and the max watts labeled on the heat sink, their perceived value is much higher then actual. In the end, it is a good idea for bringing in new customers, but I think it opens up too many problems, and adds a great deal of work for you.

As John said, it is hard to give an educated suggestion with out more info. The 12 ported will have some nice output ported off of 300 watts, but a pair of 10's do have a slight cone advantage if you wanted a little more output.

How was the sound and performance before? Hell of a car. Great work!

We have a job site in Salisbury, MD (did my undergrad there ) that the contractor and customer went under, so we have to repo so material that is still on the site. So we need a PM on the site to oversee it. Then a job in Rohobeth, DE that is complete but there is extra steel we need to pick up while we are already on the eastern shore and there needs to be a PM on site. So I get to take the company truck tomorrow.

Going to be on the road all day tomorrow.

He has a very tough road ahead, but it takes much much more then just him to turn this around. People so easily forget that.

Come on now. My turd has had no problems, so you shouldn't be so bad off, and I know you guys can't have more snow than we got over the last week. Does the mustang have an air foil / under-shield only 4-5 inches off the ground, that when you hit decent size puddles can act as a skim board and lift the front tires off enough to take away a contact patch? I cannot fit a soda can under my car, so if the snow builds up enough that is bellies up to the bottom of the car, I am screwed. No belly pan, just a bunch of shit hanging down that low. I always catch my drive shaft and pumpkin on the driveway coming in in the winter, and the rest of the shit just collects snow and ice. I drag, not surf. Dragging sounds cooler then surfing.
