  1. The Gear Graphix was a huge daunting task and Mark and I alone did not have the time to populate it. Not to mention the need for constant update of the main page. This is a more attractive page, simplifies our site down to Forum (including the gallery and arcade), Shop, SSA Speakers.
  2. I do, but want to wait a little longer to release them until the first production units are being built.
  3. WTF???!!! DO people actually fall for this? I knew the price was too good to be true, but it was listed as local, so I thought I'd try. Yeah, Thailand - Indy, same thing.
  4. Congrats to the IA MMA team.
  5. The forum looks somewhat different in IE. Had forgotten since I never use IE.
  6. Love the car, love the install. Welcome to SSA. Our English and Aussie member base seems to really be growing.
  7. Welcome to SSA. By FBi I am assuming you mean Fi?
  8. This is exactly what we don't want people doing. Spamming to post a classified topic, be a part of the forum and contribute before you use it to sell your items. Welcome to this site, but not a good way to start.
  9. Crazy!! But glad to see them holding up that long to that level of abuse.
  10. Wow, thank you for that post. I have been looking at their under hung W3 neo driver for a home audio set up. But I have not seen much in terms of reviews or feed back on them yet. Would love to do a MTM with the TB 3" neo and a Morel MD12 or similar tweeter.
  11. I love the look and the compact set up and close knit member base.
  12. The dcon will be capable of less excursion then the Icon. Going to be approx 15-17mm, but will not know for sure until we have the version that is going into production. what is holding it back. the basket looks identical so im guessing same size spiders just not as stiff or less of them. the magnet stack is also just as tall so mechanically other than the surround it looks just as capable. the coil i cant see so im guessing that is what is holding it back. the motor strenght wont be as strong but in the right enclosure im sure it could reach just as much just not linear. Spiders, coil, and surround will not allow it more travel.
  13. Nice grab. Post up some pictures when you get it in, or installed. What are your plans for it?
  14. Nah man, these subs are gonna enjoy smaller enclosures Well, all three of our lines (dcon, icon, xcon) will preform great in standard sized enclosures. We have to keep that in mind because there are plenty of people out there that can't or don't know how to build a custom enclosure. With that said, the Icon has tended to really thrive in boxes that are a little on the larger end of the spectrum, the Xcon prototype seems to be happy in standard sizes (but I need to test more enclosures to really reign in it's sweet spot, and the dcon seems to be very flexible so far (but just like the xcon, we need to test a few more sizes to have the optimal sizing pin pointed. Like the Icon, I plan to give a normal range, and then an optimal size for sealed and ported.
  15. wanted to put this on top Quality idea.
  16. Running back ups at the moment, so don't freak if load times are slow for the next hour (till 5pm or so est).
  17. While I agree there is a difference, it's not great enough to warrant the deletion of one kind and not the other. Why's it a big deal if someone else recommends another site though? If you were truly confident in the quality of this site, you'd have no worries. Nothing was deleted, only one post was moved to a place where it could be discussed. I have no worries on the quality of the site, that is and has never been in question, what was is the intent of a user to purposely try to make members leave with them. In addition, there is no issue with suggesting another site when the other site has information needed that is not supplied on the current forum, or has features not available, etc. Deleted and moved to a "Topics under review" section are basically the same thing. Both remove the post from the public's eye. Who said anyone was trying to make people leave this site? It's not as though a person can't be members of two forums. And other places can offer things that SSA currently does not. The intent was clear, and the last sentence of my prior post answers your last two sentences quite well. So you say "there is no issue with suggesting another site when the other site has information needed that is not supplied on the current forum, or has features not available, etc." answers "It's not as though a person can't be members of two forums. And other places can offer things that SSA currently does not." So why delete the post? And the intent was not clear that he was telling people to leave here, that was an (incorrect) assumption on your part. Again, the post was only moved and can always be moved back, and it was not in reference to something SSA does not offer. So yes it answers the questions, as I said; there is no issue ^^^ And with recent mentality, prior threatening to leave, leaving for a while, only to return with a poor attitude, the intent was very clear (which was further backed up by facebook messages, and the childish reaction afterwards to the moved post). Which still leaves my action to move the post correct. Saying it can be moved back means nothing, it was removed. Actually, it was in reference to something SSA does not currently offer. That intent was only clear to someone looking for that intent. And in regards to Facebook, Jim sent NO message to either me nor Ryan2. We were the ones that left the initial wall posts, and NONE of Jim's responses were telling us to leave SSA. Tom, I am flat sick of discussing this with you. You are trying to make a point that is not there with generalizations that do not work. I have and had no reason to go looking for intent, I explained it to you pretty damn clearly. And now you are telling me SSA does not offer a place for pictures. Wow, this is not worth another post, you are only going to believe what you want to believe. I am so beyond tired of the drama, not discussing this any further, not worth my time.
  18. Mark and I have been dealing with the host and the software team nearly non-stop since and through thanksgiving.
  19. Last night was the first time in over a week. And before that it was only occurring for 3 days. The software developers have been working on it constantly.
  20. Look out, we have made it off the main land.
  21. I had a 2200, sold it with a round s12c solo baric years ago. Still kicking my self for that one. [/offtopic]
