  1. Nice collection. Welcome to SSA, and excellent choice on amplifier. I have a Deuce and Gladius.
  2. Give chad the motor! Wow, shame with the rate of product improvement in the industry and the customers can still push things way past the limits. IXL's a cooking and a clippin'.
  3. I know there are some iPhone haters, but this is pretty cool for us car nuts. Article: iPhone Application
  4. Excellent choice in equipment.
  5. He wants to sell it. lol, cause I need it! Anyway, I just got a Q475.1 for my subs, and a Q75.2 for my tweets. Already had a Q175.2 for my midbass. Now I just have to come up with a clever way to show them in my wagon trunk. Not fair! It's fair. BTW, I'd be willing to part with a Q60.4. But I need to find the play money to buy your 4050 and what ever else USA series you might have left before I can start building my ESX pile. Gotcha. Hurry up then. People are starting to buy the USA series. FYI, the 4050 has a few scratches. It's not terrible, but not perfect. I have to stop checking your for sale thread on DIYma. I had pondered seeing if you would trade a p706 that is near new in condition (that I got off of DIYma earlier this year) for the ESX 4 channel, as I am on hold for going with a 3way front stage and the ESX would be a sweet 4 channel. But that would be counter to your goal of getting rid of amplifiers. You should post up here as I know there are some PPI Art fans on here I believe.
  6. Ok hold the phone here. #1 a DP 21" driver is not going to get the proper amount of air space needed to play properly in the trunk of a Contour. #2 a DP 21" does not need 3000 watts, the rms is 1/2 of that, there is no point to push that much power over the rms for a daily install. #3 a 3000+ watt amplifier like the Sundown, to make clean power is going to need a good deal of money spent on it's electrical system to support the current demand I expect you are going to put on it. You have to learn that numbers are not everything, and by that I do not mean Termlab/db mic reading numbers, I mean 21" and 3000watts. Because if done correctly, a much smaller and lesser expensive system, with a balanced front stage and sub woofer can be far more impressive if done correctly. If you could hear the output and the sound I am getting from my single 12" sub with only 240 watts on it, you might reconsider. It is far more impressive to get more out of less, then less out of more. And trust me, I have had multi-thousand watt installs. In the end, if you are not taking part in competition, it is not needed at all if you do a quality install. As mentioned before, you need to start with something somewhat smaller and get that set up right first. If you are set on the Incriminatory Audio subs, you can save a chunk of money and get a DR 12 instead of a DP21. And then look for a quality 500-1000 watt amplifier for it. No need to go to such an extreme from the get go. Baby steps, I know I am not being a good shop owner by saying spend less, but I would rather you live and learn and not spend to much then to live and not really learn and spend way too much on something that is way too big for the car and electrical system. Seriously.
  7. Exactly what I was going to say.

  9. As mentioned in the other topic, talked with the build house and the 3 week hold up at customs is coming to an end, so the Icon motors should be in stock at the build house later this week or start of next week.
  10. Just spoke with the build house, and after being held up in customs for 3 weeks, the Icon motors should be in the build house later this week or beginning of next week.
  11. Interesting note, Tonight on the way home from the gym, Amanda calls asking if I signed up a phone with Sprint. I never signed up with Sprint. Turns out they sent a bill for $117.10 for a phone I did not sign up for. Here is where it gets interesting, I called them as soon as I got home; > Sprint said it was signed up on the 23rd of this month > They had the correct address and home phone number > Only 6 people know my home phone number > They had the wrong D.O.B. > They had no social# > There were ZERO minutes used > I have never been a customer of, or been in a sprint store, or been in their system > The phone number has been active for over 5 years > It has been a virtually dead account during that time > They had no record of where or how the account was activated under my name and address > They require a deposit if they have no social # to start an account > There was no deposit to start the account > Amanda called a co-worker to pull my credit and it has not been pinged in the past 6 months So, magically I had a bill that appears to be a system glitch or a hack job out of the blue. Very high quality security and account management by Sprint. Unreal.
  12. I have counted now 6 bad calls/no calls so far in the MNF game.
  13. I believe I mentioned before, but just to make sure, it will be at least 3 months once we put it into production to when it is ready. With the constantly increasing price of materials and time to put into production, it is way to early to give a price out yet.
  14. Does this mean you will be making a sort of production prototype? Also what is the mounting depth of this beast? Thanks. Production prototype? It will be put into production. I have to double check the mounting depth.
  15. Make sure you add it to cart to get the discounted price.

  17. We have just picked up PowerMaster batteries. They have long been the top choice of Sundown Audio & Incriminator Audio, so it only makes sense.
  18. Excellent work, nice choice on equipment.
