Welcome to the IHoP
On this day in 2002, the first public version of the web browser Mozilla Firefox ("Phoenix 0.1") was released. In 1846, Neptune was discovered by French astronomer Urbain Jean Joseph Le Verrier and British astronomer John Couch Adams; verified by German astronomer Johann Gottfried Galle. In 1845, the Knickerbockers Baseball Club, the first baseball team to play under the modern rules, was founded in New York. In 1806, Lewis and Clark returned to St. Louis, after exploring the Pacific Northwest of the United States. And in 1642, Harvard College had its first commencement exercises. Happy Birthday Willie McCool (1961-2003), Jason Alexander (1959), Paolo Rossi (1956), Bruce Springsteen (1949), Julio Iglesias (1943), Marty Schottenheimer (1943), Ray Charles (1930-2004), John Coltrane (1926-1967), Mickey Rooney (1920), and Augustus Caesar (63 BC - 14 AD). "My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was much less competition." - Indira Gandhi

Welcome to the IHoP
I did a Momentum article on an M3 with the full Dinan package with that exact Powerdyne. I just went to look and my old Photodump account is dead, or I have long forgotten the password. In addition, I checked on CS.org and the server is busy so I cannot link the article. Wrote it some 4 years ago, but still applicable in this instance. I miss writing for Momentum, in a way I would like to restart the Mag. I know Neil enjoys writing, and maybe we could get a few others to bring it back to life supported here. I know AudioJunkies is there for a reason, but maybe bringing back Momentum which was more focused on the average experienced audio and automotive nut on the net would be worth it. I'd love to see your article. http://forum.carstereos.org/momentum-magazine-f82.html Not sure which edition it is. This one. http://forum.carstereos.org/tech-presented-denim-t54811.html No pics though. I think all pictures links are broken. Oh well.

Installed ESX amps
Install looks good, any shots of the amp rack? I referred a few people over here that had some ESX questions that you might be able to help on. One guy had a 120 and was not sure if he wanted to sell it or not.

Fisher Customs T Shirt Design Contest
I like the mixed gray grid of the forum and Fisher Customs website. So maybe a dark gray, with a band of the lighter gray grid, with the orange company name. Wish I had photoshop at work.

Supercoupe
How hard is it to tint windows and make it look good. I know a lot of my friends in high school tinted their windows and it looked like crap within weeks. I want to do it, but I don't want anything to look half assed on this car. I have only done it once. And something like that, which you want to last for a long time, have a tint shop do it. Worth the extra money IMO.

The linc and the 22in shoes
djjd, people have their own preferences, so don't sweat it. I know some people don't like my car because it is not flashy and somewhat unassuming on the outside, and that is because I prefer my car to be very spartan in appearance. All I care about in the end is that you are not decreasing the safety of the car.

Supercoupe
Fun car, looks to be in great shape. Good luck with it. I would love to lower it a tad, tint the windows, polish the paint up a bunch and have at it.

Our BMW master mechanic for the 528i has just shy of 200k on his 2000 540i, no major problems to report that I know of. My feelings with the elder E55 is the durability and reliability, not to mention lower cost. We might be able to find a low miles one near you. Not saying anything is wrong with the 2005 E55, as it is damn strong, just thought I would throw out the earlier model because I know it is a tank. The 528 is an I6 though, I'd expect 300-400k without troubles in those. The 4.0L though good luck hitting 150k. If work weren't leasing me a car, I might even keep the M. The big advantage for me is my cars turn to cash = new kitchen. And I still won't have a car payment. Then grab a slightly used, pre-bangle 535i and slap a T-6 on it. Hehehe, that would be sweet. 535 not available in an E39, only E34 Sorry, I meant 530i.- Welcome to the IHoP

What have you read on the Lambo V-10? Is there any relation to Chrysler, in the making of the motor when Lamborghini was owned by them?- Welcome to the IHoP
Not for automotive. I worked for Motor Week for a while. Wrote for Momentum for the automotive section. And I am just an all around car junkie I guess.- Welcome to the IHoP
