I can say that honestly, in terms of a sub woofer for the hefty majority of CA.com, an SSD or IXL is more than enough for them and well with in reach budget wise.

I agree with about not running different size drivers. As for an amplifier for the pair of 12's, I would look into seeing if there is a Sundown Audio distrbutor near, and check out the SAE-1000D.
