Jim, if you go check out the 240D, check for rust in the floor board and door sill areas. If it is rust free and is a good price, I would jump on it. You can't kill that car if you tried. But just don't expect to having blazing acceleration. I have wanted one for a while now, but have not found one that did not need some rust repair that I could afford. Comfort, class, diesel, manual, all sound good to me. Side note, we won our game last night. Pulled off what turned out to be an upset, everyone including the ref's were expecting the other side to take it. As I have moved into my 30's, and we have a few guys who have moved into my old roll, I have been usually tasked with guarding the better players on the other team who are usually lighter in stature. It under minds the point of SSA even having them, as in why have a dedicated and official company forum for a central location for information when it is split up between multiple sites. It honestly is a little copy cat in my opinion, there are plenty of other companies out there, there is no need to copy ours that I worked on and established a relationship. And yes, DC is here, but not for long with the way the forum is being supported here.

The problem with the presented question is that high levels of sound coming from a vehicle that intrude into someone else's space or area is what has given this hobby a bad reputation. Not to mention it is highly inconsiderate. If you want loud, build for competition, not to project your music blocks away.

Don't get me started on forced induction. With some tuning skills it would be so easy to turbocharge the Saturn I need a manual bad, and would have to stay with a small car for now. So that 1.8 C class could be had for a decent price, but then again I could just replace the Honda with a newer Honda for a little while. But the current Honda is doing us well.
