Wow 1250 each is too much? Its rated for 1000 thats weird. Either that single driver had a flaw, or there is an issue with the amplifier still. People are running more power (even though we do not suggest or warranty it) with no issues.

what was in there before ??? was it a monster A pair of 50lbs. prototype monsters in a 7+ cube box with an RF 3000.1.
It would be plenty of power IMO.
