  1. I would check around for a kicker ZX 300.1 or PG RSD 300.1.
  2. Not sure who else is in MS with Icon's. Who knows you might be the first.
  3. Start with what the Mach5 site suggests for the MAW-15, and if it is not what you want, go a little larger for more effiency.
  4. i'm all set up for boxes now at the house, as long as you make a nice donation to my "tools fund" i'm all for it. I need to get a nice router.
  5. That worked out well. Glad you are happy.
  6. I agree, go with a 12 if you want a single sub install. If you don't want to wait for the RL-i 8 to get back in stock or the MAG to hit production, there is always the RL-p 12.
  7. As long as the round port is large enough, there should be no sound difference between it and a slotted port.
  8. In my explorer, with ported boxes, rear fire/rear port, was the best sound to me.
  9. There are so many blind idiots in that thread it makes me angry. I want to join and say how I feel, but in my position I cannot.
  10. After putting a layer down of Second Skin Damplifier Pro in the rear of the civic, I can easily say that it is the best deadening I have used.
  11. Welcome. I thought Lord Baccus was our Elvis Look alike?
  12. How about 2 1000D's and 4 SD-1v2's? I know these are very well made drivers. Jacob, did you record any abuse testing so people can see that the new SD-1 should be at the top of the list for shallow mount SQ drivers?
  13. Your the exception. Tom is running SoundSplinter so he does not count for this. You competing this year?
  14. does that make me the sq guy? lol thats the first time ive ever been called that if so By the sound of your plans for the Honda, that install would be considered SQ.
  15. Always loved the 944's. Part of the reason I went with the XR4Ti. It was the poor man's 944 Turbo.
  16. Aaron Clinton replied to Gritter's topic in Fi Products
I agree, if output is more of a preference, go BL in this case.
  17. For a box, it would be easier if you could post up the external size limitations if you have any, and what your goals are from this install. As I can speak for the Icon's, they thrive in low tuned boxes for daily installs if you were going ported. One of the Fi tech guys can give a better perspective on the SSD/Q's.
  18. Where are you located? The three TeamSSAudio SQ guys are on the east coast and the SPL guys are near the west coast.
  19. Your going to need another battery at least to power a second surfboard.
  20. You got a ton laid down. Wish I had some people helping and warm weather.
  21. I cannot speak on the AQ's, but check out the recent Icon installs. There are a few video's.
  22. I find it funny that there was an eD topic about problems, then another one happened in real time. How ironic.
  23. It needs the M package! I agree, but the insurance and the fuel would put it out of practical for me. The fuel perhaps, but you'd be surprised on the insurance. No one wrecks M5's so they are cheap to insure. Mine is actually the cheapest car to insure that I have owned in the past 5 years. 60% of the price of the truck. I love v8's and the 540i is one of my favorite drives of all time. But I think I am going to stick to straight 6's for a while. They have all been good to me and my family. I loved my turbo 4, but T for trouble, and the only 4 cylinder big enough for my needs was years ago and I don't think Stutgartt is going to make another 3 litre 4 banger any time soon.
