My subjective review of the SSA Icon
This is coming from a SQ competitor on Team Zapco.

That is no longer GM, that is custom.

It has been acting up for me too. Don (rudy) has been having FF crashes also.

Well one of my quirks is that I used to PT, I want to lend a little hand when I see them using horrible form or trying to lift to much or something else not good. But I have to refrain because it is no longer my job and they will not listen to me anyway.

Happy 16th birthday old friend.
I saw a euro-spec E-class wagon, 5 speed, '97 I believe, imported to Canada. E500!! One of the coolest cars of all time. Guy had done the little needed saftey conversions and was planning on selling it here in the US. Would have loved that thing.

Active Crossover for home use
I saw the website, but I cannot remember the name of the company. Very attractive website, and IIRC there were some pretty impressive specs on the units too.

I am not sure if the ZED built pro and home units are ready yet or not.

Big Box, Big Dilemma.
That is hard to tell from here. I have seen some people forced to build or add final panels from inside the car.

eD 13Av.2 Subwoofer
Sounds kinda of vague. Could you please elaborate more on some of these "reasons" and how it "effected" others then yourself since you never owned any of their products? This was 6 years ago correct? Im honestly interested and hope im not coming off as smug. Thanks. The time when I considered an eD product matters not, it is the steady events since. There are plenty I am sure people can add to the list, but pre-orders with out the product confirmed, excuses like the shipment is still on the boat months later, cone failures (enough to see it is not customer abuse), the excessive hype, the tangband lies and design ordeal, the hiding of any customer concerns or complaints on ICIX (I have long since stopped reading there due to that), possible JL lawsuit, etc etc. I am not bad mouthing them, just stating what has occured and why I have stayed away. As I stated before, it is not the product, it is the people behind it. And to buy that product, it is supporting those people and their actions. If a small driver company, SoundSplinter for example, had all this happen, Mike would have long since been out of business, or been sitting on a huge level of unsold stock.

eD 13Av.2 Subwoofer
I never owned an eD product. I almost did, because of the seemingly endless hype (this was probably 2002), and I believe it was josh laine or ramos or Zane (one of the original old audio forum guys) that showed me plenty of reasons why not to. Then I started following what was going on and saw that it continued, and since have seen people like Jim and Tom (SSA staff) effected by it.

Being polite as a gym member
Something that has always been a peeve with me is how others act and treat me while I am in the gym. I take it very seriously, do my best not to talk to or bother anyone. I guess I only mention this because, New Year gym people suck. They over flow the parking lot (can't seem to drive either) think they can just join the gym and start working out on the machines and weights without doing any research or training act as if the gym floor is social hour forget that others are waiting for machines make over the top gratutious noises don't return weights to their proper locations don't wipe down machines or benches after they are done block machines while posing for the mirror when they are years away from being even ready to stand to close to me while I am in the middle of a set take over 15 minutes to get ready blocking me from returning to my locker not wearing a towel after getting out of the shower I could go on for a long time, but the gist of it is to help others have a good work out, be respectful and mindful of them because they paid to use the gym too. After March or so it dies down, then May comes around and people suddenly have to look good for the beach and the cycle continues until August, then clears out until the New Year.

MLI Bookshelfs
Very cool idea. Would be fun to run a MTSS set up with 3 MLI-s per tower. 2 enclosed somewhat like this and 1 run as a mid bass.

eD 13Av.2 Subwoofer
Sounds like some good markeneering. Something we need to learn.

eD 13Av.2 Subwoofer
It is not biased on the product, it is the man, the business practices and the people who follow him that are behind it. More of an issue of morals then product performance. I don't see anyone here that has any experience or knowledge of eD and their history, giving them money to test that driver, regardless of how close it comes to the ever growing mythical abilities of the JLW7.

Welcome to the IHoP
I have had it with the host that SSA & the shop reside at. A site with this much traffic, and at the rate we pay should not take 4+ hours to get back on line.

Happy 16th birthday old friend.
I could never bring myself to buy a GM, even if Steveo gave me the money to do it. Also, unless something changes with our family structure, or I need to start hauling a ton of inventory for SSA, I don't see an SUV in the near future. Ideally, a manual 6speed, AWD or RWD, wagon, 6 cylinder, would be about perfect.

Yup I killed it.
