  1. Yes, that makes total sense, they're probably the exact soft parts, they call up IA and say send me your flatlyne parts so that I can recone your sub and slap my name on it.
  2. you obviously dont understand subwoofer design. the correct softparts are absolutely vital to the subs performance. You misunderstand me. I'm saying that psi soft parts are not going to make that driver sound any better than it already did. In reality, it will degrade the driver, not help it.
  3. A flatline is already a very musical sub, not sure how much of a difference the PSI re-cone would do to an already SQ driver.
  4. I do, I won't be buying any multi-thousand dollar woofer.
  5. The UL12 used an MMAG motor, same tech Quentin is using in some of his DSS drivers. It was indeed a well measuring driver, never had the pleasure of playing with one. That said the actual street price for a lot of the CM gear is far less than the ebay ads, although IMO still way more than they were worth. Someone posted gut shots of one of their amps on DIYMA a couple years ago....looked like any other Asia buildhouse mass produced OEM product. IIRC they might have even identified what other amps used that same board, and they were not high dollar brands. I'll take an Ethos over the UL any day.
  6. Although attenuation is a good move to start, I would get those tweeters off the damn dash. It will never make you happy.
  7. **** Sexiness. It's blanking out D A T?
  8. Anyone know where to get a small voltage reader? I don't need notifications, just the ability to monitor DC voltage between 3 and 7 Volts. I will be doing some protection but they will just be simple lights wired into protection circuits. Something like this, but smaller? Is that possible? http://www.ebay.com/itm/K1BO-1S-6S-LED-Low-Voltage-Buzzer-Alarm-Lipo-Battery-Indicator-Checker-Tester-/261280269039
  9. If it didn't weigh 85 lbs. Goddamn. LOL
  10. You lost it again?!
  11. Yeeaaa! LOL I'm running 2 amps made in 1985
  12. I sell both HSK's and HSK-XL's. I prefer the HSK's. Hertz is very good in a "somewhat" on-axis installation. The Helix P236P is much better off axis and within your budget. Retail is normally 499.95, we sell them normally at 399.95, argue with a dealer and you should get them at 349.
  13. Always wanted to see a UL12.
  14. I don't understand expensive coffee. Cocaine is reasonably priced.
  15. No need for Sub-Sonic Filter.
  16. I saw a pair for sale on SMD awhile ago for 625 shipped each and people said it was a steal. I know they replaced it with the m3b so I don't know if value went down or what but seems like a good deal to me but I'm no expert. Those Ethos' though.... so sexy...
  17. I've heard they're good amps. Just never got into the DD craze, nor DC.
  18. Amp is gorgeous.

Damn I've got a shitty temper... Sorry for gettin' all crazy. Sometimes my head sees red when it shouldn't.

I have personally liked the sound of the aq/sq subs cuz they slam and play LOUD, in the proper enclosure. We get it bro, you like Soundqubed, maybe later you can post something substantial, like an intro in the new members section, instead of peanut-buttering Sq's balls. And that's no slam to Soundqubed, I have no opinion on something I have no experience with. I just don't like minions that only run around posting nut-hugging. Reminds me of Kevin and his little posse. *shudders
  21. I have a small collection of guitars, just don't know if I want my wife touching them.... $180 isn't too bad, maybe I'll get one for her to learn on.
  22. Oh okay, sounds good. Thanks Send me an e-mail to summarize the situation with your contact info. [email protected] You have excellent c/s Jacob. Always impresses me.
  23. Interesting. My wife wants me to teach her to play guitar and I don't really have time. LOL can you use just any guitar or is it some game guitar I'd have to buy? Squire makes real guitars so it seems I could let her touch my 59 Fender Musicmaster (I'm still debating this) and she can learn while I'm at work.
  24. He needs to just send me that 6" lathe, since I have a little dream team together now trying to build mechanical vape mods.
