Just bought two of these motors.....I have no idea what I'm going to do with 2 18's, but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

If the wires aren't loose and that's not the problem. Hook up a spare tweeter to it and see if that works. If it does it's a driver problem. If it still doesn't work you have another problem, obviously.

If it works, it's not blown. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Check that first and report back!

Personally, I never like running subs over their RMS power. I'd get 2 amps and run the 4 subs.

I get calls from every relative I have asking me to fix their computers. I get there and wonder "HOW ON EARTH DID IT GET THIS BAD?!"

I'm kinda confused. I know subs can and will bottom out if you build the enclosure too big. Also playing over an octave below tuning frequency can cause damage. Can someone enlighten me on the ground problem though?

That amp will work. If you get that amp, get two D2 subs and wire them at a 2ohm load. Assuming it does rated power, it will be a perfect match for 2 Fi SSD's.

Still hard to answer your question as it is completely subjective. Meaning: What I consider "beating" and you probably do are two completely different things. You will have bass with that setup. Will it make your vision blurry? Probably not.

Tons of customers working on Bio-devices. I'm looking to get out of Nursing, and I'm looking at a school that offers Biomedical electronics. I'd really like to find out how I would get in with a company who builds MRI or CT machines though. Travel around and install those. I really don't know where to turn though. isn't that what finebar does? Can't remember, haven't seen him around here in quite awhile though it seems like.
