Okay, back to your question. What sub do you have?

How do you like the AQ amp?

Do you think the Q is going to "pound harder" though? Maybe a BTL?

I just ordered a PSP aero port for my roommates HT sub I'm building. I REALLY like the product so far. It comes with great instructions on how to cut the pipe for proper length (takes in to account the flared ends). The website also has a calculator to help you figure out what you need.

If you're just looking for a basic head unit I would go with the 2nd Alpine or Pioneer. I've owned an Alpine and Pioneer both, and I like them both equally.

Those are awesome. Have you done any experimenting with HDR photography? Some of those would look sick.

Well you probably won't find anything in that price range that puts out that power (if it does). It comes with a 3 year warranty. So it's not a terrible deal. I would, as would most, advise you to spend more on your amp and get a quality product. There is a lot of good used stuff floating around out there.

Great build quality. If you respect your equipment, it will do the same to you.

That is a fine setup. The amp will do it's job for now, but down the road I would look into picking up a new one.

If you have a D2 woofer you can wire it up in series to present a 4 ohm load. I just reread your first post.

DO NOT run your receiver at a lower ohm load than it's rated at. I wouldn't hook it directly up to your receiver unless it can be wired to an 8 ohm load. (assuming that's what your receiver is rated for.)

I had a kid who would talk so much chit on me because he has 2 12" Power Bass subs and I only had 1 12" (Fi Q). Well, needless to say, he bought my Q off of me 2 weeks after hearing it.

Is this going to be your starting battery/only battery? Also, have you looked into Powermaster?

No experience, but should be a solid product. Just remember that it's rated at 14.4 volts.

Kind of off topic, but I was reading around and saw that they are starting to ship 2160p in 2015. It is quite far away though.

Every car is different so you have to tune it accordingly. Are you talking about your crossover points or EQing it?

How much power are you feeding it?
